My Aim In Life

I guess everyone remembers writing this essay in school. I am in everyone in ‘Bharat’. Because well 5 marks ka question tha.😀

Whenever someone asks me, what is your aim? This essay comes in my mind. Everyone I know wrote the same thing, because we read it from the same book (I want to be a doctor/teacher…). But there is one particular line that I remember writing, it was I guess in the second paragraph, “A man without an aim in life is like an animal”.. What a joke right! 😁

I guess it’s alright for a women to not have an aim in life. These kind of things really makes you wonder. I mean it’s the little things. They could have written person instead of man but no, it has to be man. And we all wrote man, not a person, it was so natural, it never came in to our mind that we can change it. I don’t think anyone of us really put any thought to this question. Well if we did we wouldn’t be here, reading this or writing this. It was always a question and there was an answer which would get us the marks we needed. Our teachers looked at it in the same way, there was no consideration to thought put into answering the question but the grammar. Growing up I never heard someone asking me or anyone around me, if they really wanted to be what they wrote. It was just the answer of 5 marks, nothing more.

Well, I am getting off topic here. Sorry. Like anybody gonna read this 😅

Well, so, ‘Aim in life’.🤔 I have no aim in life. And whenever I say this to people, people look at me with that blank expression” 😐”. Because, everyone has to have an aim in life. I mean, how could you not have an aim, you have to, you wrote about it when you were in 5th or 6th grade, there is a proof, in written form, well, it’s out there somewhere on or in earth in some form. 🤓

What is up with that look, like you know what you are doing with your life? I mean, chill bro.🖖 But, I don’t really blame that look, because for a long time, I even myself didn’t knew that I don’t have an “Aim” in life. It is a really happy realization people. You people out there with an aim or a dream, you are lucky, you can’t even see our struggle with this question. It comes so naturally to you. Well savor it people, it’s precious. You know what, I have realized by now that I am a really strong minded person. I get things done, whatever I put my mind into, so I don’t get when people say that they can’t do something. Oh! This must be how you people with an “Aim” in their life feel about people like me. Wow! So deep. 😀 Is it so important to have an Aim in life? Whatever happened to wandering your way through life? 🙃
