The Syncro smashed its first expedition, covering over 3000+ miles in 10 days. Five large males living, eating & sleeping in a VW T3. Unfortunately, the trip was somewhat tarnished by a rather unfortunate turn of events in which the van was broken into and ransacked whilst spending a short time in a ’ secure ’ car park with ’ security ’ staff. As many of you will already know I’m currently in the process of going full nomad and my vans my home, so to have it trashed, the interior ripped to bits and loads of equipment I use to live/work stolen has been an incredibly frustrating experience. I’m not a materialistic person, they’re just things, as long as none of my friends were hurt in the process I don’t care. However, with a series of exciting self-funded expeditions coming up for Bicycle Touring Apocalypse it has been a huge set-back. I don’t expect charity from anyone and I will eventually get the money together to replace the items taken and repair the damage to the van, but any donations through my site ( there’s a small donation button in the footer ) would be a huge help towards getting Bicycle Touring Apocalypse back on its feet. #vanagon
