Hi everyone!!
I never thought I'd actually finish this project anytime soon, so I kept it mostly under wraps for a long, long time.
And I cannot believe I'm finally able to say this but!!
My very own interactive fanfic!!
The characters in the game right now are: Riddle, Leona, Azul, Jamil, Vil, Idia, Malleus, Lilia and Floyd.
The reader is gender neutral.
Each character has 12 obtainable endings â 6 romantic and 6 platonic endings! (A total of 108 Endings!)
You get to choose if you want a romantic or platonic end!
5+ scenes for each character with some having hidden triggers to get to them!
Each route is about 12k-17k words. (A total of 144,155 words!!)
The endings depend on the choices you make!
A very few of my mutuals and friends knew what I was upto, and I'm extremely thankful for their presence!!!
Especially @charredcipher who helped me test everything thoroughly. I genuinely owe them my life, and he's the reason I was able to fix and polish this so quickly!!
Anyways!! I hope you guys enjoy it <3

Judalâs ideology through the story
[The final part of a three pieces analysis inspired by @koukoi1412âs question]
Judal was introduced as a spoiled and very wicked character. He was full of himself and thought little of the world. He only desired to bring chaos and war. Thatâs why he was satisfied with being the magi of Kou Empire, an empire with imperialistic ideology and with five (later six) royal children being djinn users. Siding with Kou, made Judal able to fulfill his only wish: bring chaos and war to the world.

From his introduction, Judal seemed like the  typical one dimensional villain who exists onto hate the world and to make our heroesâ journey more difficult. However, Judal is a much more complex  character than that. The reason he loathed people so much was  because he had been abused by the closest ones to him (Al Thamen) for all his life. Granted, that doesnât justify his more cruel actions but it helps explaining them.
He was like a dog who was kicked for years and at some point started to bite people out of frustration. Thatâs something he had in common with prince Hakuryuu. Their similar background was something that prompted Judal to pik  Hakuryuu as his sole chosen king. Judal still held into his hatred based ideology. The only difference was that he would no longer serve those who had abused him in the past but instead co operate with the only person who had suffered the same like him.

(Out of topic but this panel is part of my favourite magi chapter. Seriously if you want to understand Judal and Hakuryuuâs psyche just go and re read ch. 244)
Judal was unable to achieve his magna opus since he was âkilledâ by Aladdin. During the time he spend in space and on his journey back, he was shown to care not only for the war that started without him but  for his king candidate as well. That was a turning point for Judal, because he was able to develop positive feelings for another human being and that made him value the world a bit more, even if he didnât understand it at that point. Also, his interaction with the always optimistic Alibaba and the fact that he had two years travelling to sort out his thoughts also helped to calmed him down.
Unfortunately, the mangaka didnât show us an important aspect of Judalâs development: his return to his family village. Instead, this happened off panel and we only saw Judal once he reunited with the rest of the main characters. Iâm all for character development happening on page and I would certainly like to see Judal visiting his homeland, however even without witnessing that his character growth still feels natural.Â
The new Judal decided to join the rest of main guys in the fight against Arba and Sinbad. For once, he was protecting peace instead of destroying it.Â
Another significant change is that the current Judal no longer wishes that he had lived a better live. He understands that  his current life that lead him to become the man he is today and without experiencing it he would no longer be the same person. Also, if he had lived a different life he wouldnât have met Hakuryuu, an important person to him.

What I like the most  about Judalâs development is that he didnât forsake all of his old ideals and habits. Heâs still willing to destroy anything that annoys him; itâs just that things donât offend him so easily  as before.

The end of the story finds a more peaceful Judal than he had ever been. He will still fight when he feels he has to, but the endless fights and hatred of the world belong to the past. Judal is finally happy.

when you grew up as a lonely uncool girl it will never stop haunting you by the way. you will meet a cool person at a bar or the train station or at a friend's party and you can wear your most stylish outfit and striking eye makeup and you will swear that they can see through all of the facade and see the lonely terribly insecure teenage girl you used to be who desperately wanted to connect and you will swear that they know that there is like an insurmountable gap between you. this will happen forever

I was rewatched Magi The Labyrinth of Magic while writing, and I just really love that the trio are constantly learning and teaching each other how to be people. Like its especially obvious with Aladdin, who knows so little about himself, and the world, but all of them take turns at it.
"You are Aladdin, child of Baba, and friend of Ugo and Alibaba." Aladdin's insistence that he can just break Morgiana's chains, and she'll be free, and she struggles to explain that it's not that simple, until he's like oh, there's invisible chains too, and resolves to go see the sun with her one day.
Alibaba tries to ghost them, and Morgiana hunts him down and says he owes at least Aladdin an explanation, and then he gives one, and when he tries to push them away, they don't let him get away with it. Instead of telling him he's an idiot, they gently ask him what he'll do if his dangerous and risky plan fails.
Like I just appreciate that instead of these huge life lessons or revelations that most animes fall into the trap too, it just feels like children learning to be children, and teaching each other along the way.
