no matter how much we convince ourselves that it’s alright and we’ll get used to it, every particle in our heart and body will say otherwise. the truth is, we just always deny it because we thought it’ll help us stronger — to move forward, but in reality it keeps us on tearing apart.
“It hurts, doesn’t it? Knowing that you were manipulated into losing what you gave everything for and that you only have yourself to blame. Maybe we share the memories of burning tears behind closed doors when you’re reminded that none of the comforting words from the world bring back what you wish for most.”
“I understood that as much as I had resisted the outside, as much as I had constricted my life, as much as I had closed and narrowed the channels into me, there were still many takers for the quiet heart.”
There is something so unfortunately comfortable in being in a state of sadness. Depression manages to make a home in your soul. And when it has been with you for so long it then becomes difficult to let go. It’s hard to let go because this is what I had known for so long. It became my home. It became my safe space.
I had to damage a lot of parts within my soul to burn the sadness.
We got lost in each other,
the way one becomes lost at sea.
You don’t know where you are exactly,
but you know one thing for certain,
that no matter where you go
the water surrounds you.
5 tips to a happier everyday:
Tip 5 - If you can’t solve it now, the solution is meant to come later. So don’t stress yourself
any further and let it go. Good things come to those who wait..
Tip 4 - Meditate. Whether it happens while you do your make up or when you clean,
even while you lay in bed before you get up. In silence find wholeness, clear
your mind before the day comes rushing in.
Tip 3 - Drink water. You won’t notice the difference by doing this but your body will thank
you for it I promise.
Tip 2 - Achieve 2-3 things that you need or want to do with your day so theres fulfilment at the
end of your night. Make memories with yourself.
Tip 1 - Listen to music, better yet sing it. You know the songs you listen to when you’re in a good mood, make a playlist out of it and just listen. Its the best remedy for all the bad thoughts and mood swings.

This is my new favorite hangout spot. I walked here from home with a cup of tea and my watercolor supplies. A floating dock out of the reach of sun or rain floats underneath the marina. And it has friends. 😍
I always dream that somewhere across the universe we will find each other again. I’ve come to believe that every time we get apart it is only to get more closer. I feel like we are connected and we always will belong to each other.
