I still haven’t found out how to properly manage my time between studying, assignments, thesis writing, and keeping on top of new content each week. I have no idea how everyone else does this???

🌹 Please think 🌹
Slow weight loss is a lot better for your body than rapid weight loss, please take it slow
If you want to lose weight, please find out what your lowest healthy weight range is according to your height and age
Please remember that it takes 3000 calories over your Resting Metabolic Rate to gain any actual weight
Please don’t fast for longer than a few hours, it messes up your metabolism
1200 calories is low and will help you lose weight at a healthier rate than anything under 1000, please just eat a balanced diet of carbs protein and unsaturated fats
Please don’t over exercise, your heart is also a muscle and when it’s overworked it can lead to a lot of issues and hospitalisation
Not everyone starts out with an eating disorder, they can develop through the process and you don’t even see it. Please be careful and stay safe, eating disorders are painful and constant
Everyone’s body structure and distribution is different, please do not aim for someone else’s weight and expect to look like them
Please keep your intake consistent throughout the day, this may help some people’s metabolism but I can’t speak for everyone
Please remember that if you’re not eating a lot, you won’t have anything to digest
Please remember that muscle weighs more than fat, once you start toning or building muscle you will gain muscle weight which is healthy
Please start eating more if you start building muscle, if you don’t you can really mess up your body
Please take a day off every once in a while, treat yourself and relax. It doesn’t have to be with food or sweets, it can be with clothes or a movie night, whatever you want
Please drink enough water, not to make you full, just to hydrate your body. Too much water can lower sodium levels.
Hospital is not fun, they watch you 24/7 and if you refuse to eat the (approx.)6 meals a day then they will not hesitate to put a tube down your nose into your stomach so please

ways to see life in a softer light ✨
jump into puddles when it’s raining
draw and paint without needing to be “good”
find a cookie recipe and do your best
collect weird rocks, thinking they’re gems
fall in love with sunsets, misty mornings, snow and rainbows
borrow a big stack of books from the library
be excited for small things, like seeing a butterfly or pretty bird or a cat
do ‘embarrassing’ things without a care in the world if it makes you happy
go on your own adventures and plan new adventures for the future in a book
create detailed life stories of random strangers you see on the train
make a wish when an eyelash falls out, when you see a shooting star or ladybug, at 11:11pm, or invent your own superstitions for luck
have a rich world of imagination. create a beautiful strange world or thing to go to when you’re sad and need an escape, or just before you fall asleep so you can dream of this world.
be kind, gentle, loving and helpful without expecting anything back. make tea and sweet treats for people you love
believe in magical creatures, and make ordinary things and people magical in your own way.
learn to be alone and enjoy the silence and peace, but also care deeply about others, and make others feel loved and special like they deserve
find your signature scent, aesthetic, handwriting, songs, quotes, clothing and colors like you’re a protagonist in a movie
learn to smile instinctively at people you make eye contact with. be a person that radiates warmth. be the friend you’ve always needed and wanted
see the good side in everything. don’t hold grudges or let small things affect your happiness
when you catch yourself dreading something, keep telling yourself “it will be nice”, the worst case scenarios almost never happens
make playlists for your moods, your favorite people, places, moments and things you want to experience
invent games for mundane things, like raindrops having a race rolling down the window
go swimming and pretend to be a mermaid, grow flowers and make jam and apple pies and pretend you’re in a fairytale
explore places aimlessly. walk without a purpose so you find nice surprises and places that become special to only you
notice beauty in things that you usually don’t pay much attention to

A reminder for the girls with big plans
To all the girls with big dreams, who have been told that they are ‘too preoccupied with success’, or that they are ‘too selfish’ or ‘too ambitious’ - do not listen to the people who speak those words. If you love something that much, and will pursue it to the ends of the earth, do not give it up for anyone. Hold it close to your heart and understand that you are not obligated to dim your sparkle for anybody. In your life, there will always be people who tell you that you are too much or too little. They will say a woman is too assertive, or too reserved. They will say she feels too little or too much, that ambition is selfish. They may even be hurt or offended that you do not think the same. Yet at the end of the day, know in your heart that you are the only one who will ever know whether you are truly enough and that is what’s important. Go out there and smash the glass ceiling to pieces.
