I don't know who else has been to a game but in Seattle the stadium was half empty, for an international sporting event. We fill it more for friendlies against central and south American teams. Or we did under previous administrations. And we are supposed to host the World Cup next year? How is that even going to work? We are sharing a world cup with two other countries, so two border crossings to see games.

Allegedly, ICE have informed attendees of the Club World Cup that they should have their citizenship documentation on them at all times during the event.

That is absolutely horrifying.

The thing is, I am pretty confident they are only really referring to people who aren't white when they say this. And as this is an event with teams across the world, you know there will be a lot of innocent people caught up in this absolute shit show of a pseudo-dictatorship that Donald Trump is now running.

I am terrified for what we will see in the coming weeks.

Books on Libby have started disappearing.

My friend pointed it out first, and then I started noticing too. Why would books that multiple libraries definitely, 100% had digital access to a couple of months/weeks/days ago disappear?

Amazon is getting exclusive rights to them.

Ebooks that the public library once had digital copies of are now only available through Amazon. Audible boasts on their covers about Audible-exclusive audiobooks that did not used to be Audible-exclusive. Entire series and collections are disappearing overnight.

Keep your eyes on the privatization of media and your libraries.

The shiny Dunsparce is a gift replaced my starter (I wanted to try a no-starter run) but the Starly is just a random shiny I ran into.
