今作は【小型モニターをメディウムとして用いた立体作品】です。

室内用物干しを支持体とし、10インチ/11.6インチモニターから再生される映像をメディウムとして用いています。

この作品が表す事象は、以下の5つの事項をもって表現しました。

1.洗濯という行為についての考察

①宗教心から穢れを清める儀式と同等の行為として。

②衣服を汚れた状態から再び着用できるように水洗いする行為として。

また、上記は現代に至るまで、電気機器の普及、化学繊維の使用、新配合の洗剤によって時間と労力は合理化されている。

2.洗濯物についての観察

①形を保ち、満遍なく乾かせるような干し方になる。

②洗濯物ひとつひとつが集合し、コラージュとして１つの彫刻のように見える。

③衣服が性的対象物として、またプライベートな部分を孕んでいるアイテムであること。皆が洗濯物を干すこと生活の一部としているのに、プライバシーなものであること。それを屋外で干すことに抵抗感がある。

④プライベートな部分を孕んでいるのは、衣服にデザインされた形やアイコンが原因だと考える。古代の衣服はもっとフラットだったのかもしれない。

3.今作についての定義

①象徴として、”清潔”を表す。

②表現技法として、コラージュを用いる。

③問題定義として、”衣服が性的対象物として、またプライベートな部分を孕んでいるアイテムであること。それを屋外で干すことに抵抗感が生まれている現代”を干された状態で表す。

4.表現における制約

①衣服の形は”誰かの持ち物であることを連想させるもの”でなければならない。

②コラージュは、洗濯物が干されている形でなければならない。

③映像は「清める」ものを連想させるアニメーションでなければならない。

Interactive art " wave, foam, and ... "  created by wakabayasu

This works was made as an experiment of interactive art × painting.

It is a device that measures distance between the work and the viewer with an ultrasonic sensor at your feet,plays video depending on the number.

The characteristics of this device create interactivity.By making the image still, the video is likened to a painting.

Albert Einstein (1879-1955) once proposed that matter exists without an observer, saying, "There must be a moon there, even if I haven't seen it."

However, the result of the double-slit experiment was that "matter is a wave and a grain", which spreads in space as a matter wave and is formed by the interference of the observer.

If the information received from the retina = "existence", is the state before going through that process equal to "existence"?

The shape of the foam is created by the continuous flow of oil slicks.

This invisible energy is visualized and represented as a wave painting.

今作は【インタラクティブな絵画の実験】として制作しました。

作品を鑑賞する際に生じる距離を足元にある超音波センサーで計測し、静止した映像が数値によって流れ出す装置です。

インタラクティブな試みはこの装置の特性に付随し、装置を通じて映像を絵画に見立てています。

アルベルト・アインシュタイン(1879-1955)はかつて「私が見ていなくても、そこに月があるはずだ」と、観測者なしに物質は存在していると提唱しました。

しかし、二重スリット実験の結果は「物質は波であり、粒である」という、物質波として空間に広がり、観測者の干渉によって形を成すというものでした。

網膜から受け取った情報 ＝「存在」というのであれば、その過程を経る前の状態は「存在」に等しいのでしょうか。

泡のかたちは絶え間ない油膜の流動によって生まれています。この直接的に見えないエネルギーを視覚化し、波の絵画として表しています。

Graduation work 

" When the automatic door did not react, i seemed to me like a ghost there " 

~ ghost in the field ~ 

Produce by Honoka Wakabayashi aka maebakona. 

As you walk the road in center, The USB fan start rotating automatically one row at a time by the Pyroelectric sensor responds.

The reaction is a bit slow. It make feel the gap of contact and reaction.

This gap makes the body like a transparent, and Peel off from the body the definition of presence that the you feels.

Wind exists even though it is not visible. It pass through flowers and you.

I think that maybe the Presence is things Moving ,not substance.

卒業制作　若林穂乃香  展示作品 「自動ドアが反応しなかった時、そこにある自分は幽霊のように思えた」

真ん中の道を歩くと赤外線センサが反応し、 USBファンが横１列ずつ自動的に回り始めます。

その反応は少し遅く、接触と反応のずれを感じさせます。 このずれが肉体を透明にし、鑑賞者が感じる存在の定義を肉体からはがす。

風は目に見えなくとも存在し、花やあなたを通過します。 存在感とは質量のあるものではなく、動きあるものなのかもしれません。

Suddenly, from installed monitor Windows XP starts, images of grassland and clouds video play.

This grassland is the vineyard  of Sonoma in California. It's a real place that has become model the default desktop background for Windows XP.

Stopped vineyard,Flowing clouds.  In the window that has emerged, Automatically exploring Sonoma's field on Google Street View.

We look at the information on the screen and it feels as if we were there.

But, that is just information.  We have not visited a real there. While the Internet is an extension of the body, we re-experiencing “the past” of the real world.

By Lack the desktop function, and add a stream of time to a landscape image,This works make to notice you the consciousness we turn to the screen.

《 我々はあのワインで有名なソノマの畑を見ていたのか 》

会場に設置されたモニターから突然WindowsXPが起動し、草原と雲が流れる映像が映し出されます。

この草原はカルフォルニア州に実際に存在するソノマ郡の葡萄畑であり、WindowsXPのデフォルトのデスクトップ背景となった場所です。

静止した畑と流れる雲、そして出現したウィンドウではGoogle ストリートビューにてソノマの畑を探索しています。

私たちは画面の中の情報を見て、実際にそこに訪れたかのような感覚になります。

しかしそれはあくまで情報であり、実際の場所には足を運んでいないのです。インターネットは身体の拡張でありながら、現実世界での[過去]を追体験しています。

デスクトップという機能を欠如させ、風景画像に時間の流れを加えることで、私たちが普段画面に対して向けている意識を再確認させます。

Switch the electric fan on / off, move the plastic bag where the piezo microphone was installed, and hear the sound by vibration.

《 センプーキ・ママ 》

授業の課題発表会で講演したパフォーマンス/演奏です。

扇風機のON/OFFを切り替えてビニール袋を動かし、 そこにピエゾマイクを取り付けて振動により音を鳴らしています。

PCではON/OFFの切り替わる速さを調整しています。

We can not live without consuming anything.

Throw it away when it becomes old, buy new things, that is consumption social structure. In modern times that depend on it, it consumes what is in daily life and repeats the production of its consumables.

Animals and plants produced and consumed as food and pet. Creatures are in their true shape, born from nature. But the greed for human consumption distorts it.

《 水もやらずにいい花 》

私たちは常に、何かを消費しなければ生きられない。

古くなったら捨て、新しいものを買う消費社会構造に依存している現代では、 日常の中であらゆるものを消費し、その消費物の生産を繰り返している。

愛玩動物や観葉植物、食品として生産・消費される生物はもともとは自然から生まれた姿が本来なのだが、人間の消費に対する欲はそれを歪めていく。
