hey guys if you actually care about mexicos water crisis please consider boycotting brands like coca cola and heineken. they are the ones running mexico's water supplies dry. I am aware of the "mexicans drink too much coke lmao" stereotype but it is because they have made us dependent on their brand, making it so in certain places of mexico, a coca cola bottle is cheaper than water. all thanks to our ex president Vicente Fox <3

Day 6: Travel To witness the wonders of a foreign land.

you are 16. you are talking with a gay man in his 50s or 60s, a friend, huge and gentle with a scarf and short fluffy curls of gray hair, who has directed you in two plays staged in your mid-size artsy town. (he has not yet asked you to be in his production of The Laramie Project which will change your life. this conversation will also change your life.)

he is talking about theatre. he is talking about theatre when he was younger. he says, "of course, it was AIDS then." in the pause, you ask him. clumsy and quiet and 16 and "straight," you ask him. what was it like.

he takes a moment in which his face is not like a person's face. "there was a time," he says, "i'm not sure how long, years. when i went to a funeral every weekend." he tells you about two funerals in a day, and choosing between friends when you couldn't make it to both. he does not look at you, he looks at them. his wet grey gaze is so clear that you start to see ghosts. it will be years before you understand why it feels like your grief too. why the ghosts call you family.

I try to take a little quiet time in the morning, just for myself. This creates a foundation for the mischief of the rest of the day! 🧘🏻

You have to start somewhere, right?

I'm the dm of a campaign and I am stuck. An npc with a grudge towards a party member will show up and feign hiring them to do some quest, while she is claiming debts and stuff to set up a trap. Then as the last part of their "quest" the party member she hates will be told to walk right into the trap. I have everything ready except for the "quest". I've been reading so many prompts but they're all to big, they need to be in town and kinda smallish. Do you have any ideas?

Recovering a stolen prized possession?  Wrecking someone’s shit in order to get revenge?  Finding a missing pet? Clearing out an infested cellar/attic?  Minor haunted house?  Dealing with some drunken thugs?  Serving as seconds in some honorable duel?  Protecting craftsmen from monsters as they make needed repairs to a bridge/other important civic structure?  Evicting squatters? Security for a wedding or other important event?  Working with the town guard to arrest some criminals/suspects?  Putting down a gang?  Finding out why several fishermen have gone missing?  Protecting an important shipment/delivery?
