Intellectual Property as a Business Strategy
Blog #5

Innovation is critical to economic growth in the quickly changing global environment of today. Intellectual property (IP) is a fundamental component that promotes prosperity and protects innovation. This blog explores the value of intellectual property, its principles, and practical protection techniques.
Innovation, which includes both invention and exploitation, strengthens economies and moves countries closer to prosperity. As a social contract that grants exclusive rights in return for knowledge sharing, patents are consistent with both the bargain theory and the natural rights theory. IP rights guarantee just compensation and control over intellectual property by protecting, appropriateing, and controlling creations.
IP systems use legal frameworks like patents and trademarks to achieve protection, appropriation, and control. Territoriality, exclusivity, limited rights, conditional protection, and a first-to-file strategy are among the fundamental concepts. The disclosure principle requires specific information to be disclosed for protection, advancing human knowledge and promoting future innovation.
Determining IP ownership is essential to prevent disputes because it varies. Exclusive rights, market position, income streams, negotiating power, and improved corporate image are all included in the promises of intellectual property, which build a strong basis for business expansion. By safeguarding innovations, controlling rivalry, encouraging design freedom, establishing connections with customers, generating income, and influencing corporate strategy, intellectual property (IP) promotes economic activity.
It is essential that business and IP strategy work together harmoniously. An effective IP strategy that is based on business objectives and technology is essential to a company's success. In order to fully realize the potential of intellectual property, collaboration is essential for leveraging diverse viewpoints, collective intelligence, and forward-thinking innovation.
Taking a calculated approach is necessary when starting IP protection. Effective protection starts with talking to an IP expert, researching IP, holding off on premature disclosure, and picking your battles carefully. To sum up, intellectual property is a key factor in both economic success and innovation. Progress and prosperity can only be achieved by businesses and nations having a clear understanding of IP principles, philosophies, and promises.

In order to successfully bring a new product to the market, marketing product launching is a comprehensive plan that makes use of a variety of marketing channels and strategies. In order to create marketing messages that appeal to potential customers, this process starts with identifying the target demographic and performing market research. INNOVATION SUMMIT Day 1 & 2

I observed a variety of entrepreneurs and researchers at the Innovation Summit on its opening day. In the booth, they shared with us their expertise and concepts related to their project as well as their personal experiences. I have gained a lot of knowledge about the innovators' initiatives from the Innovation Summit participants. Two innovations in particular attracted my notice.
The first is the Bamboo the Rizome I think that they discuss about us, after doing some inquiry, I discovered more details upon further inquiry that the Bamboo is not just used for construction, furniture and etc. I discovered that bamboo has the capacity to absorb carbon dioxide through its development and use, making it a very sustainable material with several advantages. Also by providing a different, highly renewable source of biomass energy, bamboo also contributes to avoiding the use of fossil fuels and reducing deforestation. For the many individuals who use solid biomass for cooking, such charcoal or briquettes, bamboo can offer a sustainable supply of bioenergy.
The second is the (I don’t know what is called) automatic farm fertilizer I think, it is used for fertilizer on farms(sakahan). Farmers benefit because it makes their labor easier. By applying farm fertilizer control and this assistance, you may fertilize your farm without any issue.
PS: I havent take a picture the other one.

Week 2: VPC
My team and I, did a brainstorming and created a Value Proposition Canvas which can help ensure that a product or service is positioned around what the customer values and needs.
This is the Logo that we brainstorm not only the Hipster also with Hacker and the Hustler in order to create a good logo thats suits in our business.
Adopting a pet is a wonderful experience that benefits both the animal and the adoptive families, and that is what this logo is all about. It's a kind and considerate approach to welcome a new pet into your home and also have an impact on the welfare of other animals that are under your care.

Week 1

EMPATHIZE
Empathize forms the main ideology of design thinking as it transforms the business and the corporate requirements into human requirements.
DEFINE
Some of the ideas or information collected in the empathize stage may not be clear or defined properly by the users. These ideas need to be defined concisely so that all the stakeholders of the organization can understand the customer needs.
IDEATE
In this stage, design teams will collaborate with the product or software development teams to ideate. This step of the design thinking process requires teamwork and effective communication between cross-functional teams to succeed in formulating feasible ideas. Every member should be allowed to voice their opinions and given the chance of supporting their arguments.
PROTOTYPE
Those innovative ideas can then be developed further with the help of the product or software development team into a working model of the real product or service known as a prototype. These prototypes do not need to be of high quality as they are not the final product and require testing.
TEST
Testing is the fifth stage of the design thinking process, however, since this process is non-linear it is not technically the final step. Prototypes of the product created will be rigorously tested by the design and product development teams along with a select group of users. They will provide feedback on the prototype which will again be used by the design and product development teams. Therefore, the final product that will be available to the customers of the organization will effectively fulfill their requirements and meet the objectives of the organization as well.
IMPLEMENT
The non-linear nature of the design thinking process makes it possible for design teams and the entire product development team to re-visit each step at any stage of the product design or development process. Each step feeds the other in the design thinking process. Thus, making it a constant loop of learning and formulating ideas. Organizations use design thinking to create goods and services that can handle the demands of the contemporary world.
