Gender Parity & Tokenization Explained | WEF | Top Stories Week
When we moved to Arizona, we moved next door to a lovely retired couple - John and Lucy. John was a veteran of WWII, he had an M.D. and a Ph.D. in radiology, and he LOVED us to pieces. His wife, Lucy, was a sharp and gifted woman - well spoken, very observant, and VERY clever. I just know that she used that cleverness as a mom to great effect, because with my and my siblings she always managed to find a way to send us home with candy and treats for a week despite my dad’s protests. We loved them, growing up, and even though they have long-since passed away I love them still, and I love what I learned from them.

GLOBAL FILIPINO
Course Description
This course introduces students to the contemporary world by examining the multifaceted phenomenon of globalization. Using various disciplines of social sciences, it examines the economic, social, political, technological, and other transformations that have created an increasing awareness of the interconnectedness of peoples and places around the globe. To this end, the course provides an overview of the various debates in global governance, development, and sustainability. Beyond exposing the students to the world outside the Philippines, it seeks to inculcate a sense of global citizenship and global ethical responsibility.

True Colors
Week 1 The CSO Team-building Meet It was the first time that I meet actual people in a workplace whom I personally interacted with. Observing them, being vigilant of how they relate, and enjoying the ride with all them were my primary agenda in the said activity.
I spent 3 days to recover from the emotional distress of saying goodbyes. Because I invested time, and myself, I already knew that something was taken away from me.
I seldom allow people to be successful in doing this. But I also took something, and that's okay. This is another volume of the saga of my life where I intentionally let people in — whoever they may be and whatever they are like, my life is subject to their hands.
This is a chance I am taking, a decision of my own.
