#WalkAway Update:

This was in response to a comment from a friend who stated I’m crazy to leave the Democratic Party because Trump supporters are worse:

I have yet to be attacked by a Trump supporter. I’m open with them about being pro-choice, supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and believing in marriage equality, even about being antitheistic.

All of them have acknowledged we don’t agree on everything, but applaud my wishes to think for myself. Trump supporters have called me brave, intelligent, and a beautiful, mixed race woman. Democrats are calling me a robot, a Russian, a paid actor— I was told I deserve to be raped yesterday, it wasn’t by a conservative.

I'm sick of being hated simply for being WHITE, and then automatically moving up to the special victims' privilege list when they find out I'm gay or have done drag. Then right back down to the bottom when they find out I support Trump.

Reasons I Decided To #Walkaway" "When Hate crimes that were Front Page news became Back Page news if they turned out to be fake. When Obama brought up police brutality at the funeral of murdered police officers in Dallas. When Marxism is celebrated even though it murdered 100 million people in the last century. When identity politics became more valid than having an argument. When you can publicly demonize white males to the point of celebrating them becoming “extinct” (literally something a friend told me). I’m so happy I walked away and as the Left delves deeper into identity politics and socialism, there’s ZERO chance I’ll be walking back.
