Who can join?

This event is open to artists and writers of all abilities, in any stage of their fandom journey – a fun opportunity for the LCF family to come together and celebrate the various relationships between different characters in the LCF cast written by Yoo Ryeo Han.

What is a pinch-hitter?

Pinch-hitters are back up artists or writers who replace an artist/writer that drops out —anyone interested should take a look at the pinch-hit document. (It can be found within the sign up form)

You'll be asked to claim a minimum of 3 projects in the sign-up form. Whether you are an artist or a writer (or both), the projects you choose signify who you are willing to step in for should someone drop out.

When will I be contacted for pinch hit? 

Pinch-hitters will only be required if an artist or writer drops out of the event. As such, signing up as a pinch-hitter doesn't guarantee of whether you'll be contacted. However, your presence is very appreciated.

The Whole Shipping Thing

Can people stop hating so much?

Sometimes it feels like we forget that these people are fictional. I understand getting incredibly attached to a character, but being outright rude about it just irks me.

You may not personally like a ship, but it's not okay to start openly start hating on it and calling it ass. If someone posts something about a ship they like that you don't like, just scroll and move on. No one's making you comment on it.

Just let people ship who they want to ship. I don't care if it's a rare-pair or the most popular ship in the fandom, just let people be.

Unless it's objectively strange. As in 'they're siblings' strange and not 'but the characters have never met' strange.

Secretly Married SKK HC

Thinking about secretly married SKK headcanon with hidden rings (thansk Ene) Dazai keeps his ring on a chain under his shirt, close enough that it rests against his heart. Chuuya hides his under his glove, never taking it off unless Corruption forces him to. It’s their secret tether, a promise kept quiet in a world that wants to take everything from them. Now imagine: Dazai getting kidnapped (again). He’s tied up, bruised and bloodied, but still smiling that lazy, infuriating little smile because that’s what he does. Which, of course, only pisses his captors off more. So they go further—ripping away his coat, tearing at the bandages, stripping him of every layer he wears like armor. And then they freeze. Because there, catching the dim light, is a silver band resting against his chest. “Didn’t take you for the sentimental type,” one sneers. “Who’s the unlucky one?” The words have barely left their mouth when the walls shudder. A low tremor ripples through the floor, followed by the distant boom of an explosion. Dust shakes loose from the ceiling. Another blast follows, closer this time—the lights overhead flicker, pipes groan, the air feels charged like a storm about to break. The room goes tense, hushed. Nervous glances pass between the men. They know that kind of power. Everyone in the underworld knows who carves paths like that. But none of them say it aloud, not yet. And Dazai... Dazai just lowers his gaze to the ring swaying faintly against his ribs. His lips twitch, like he’s the only one in on the joke. When he finally speaks, his voice is soft, almost bored, but the words cut with a weight that lands in the gut: “Mm. Unlucky’s close… but no. I’d call him catastrophic. And my husband.” The third blast snuffs the lights out completely. Darkness floods the room. And right on cue, the chaos begins.

Artist Sign ups Extended!

Artist sign ups have been extended to 1 week with some changes!

Originally, artists were required to have a draft of their idea ready while signing up. However, this has been changed for anyone signing up during the extended period.

Artists may sign up without a draft at anytime by August 24 but they will still be asked to leave a rough outline/summary of what they have in mind while signing up.

Uploading your draft has been made optional, but you may upload it if you have it ready!

Artist signing up during this period and without an uploaded draft will be given 1 week more of time period — specifically, till August 31 to send me their drafts (in case you didn't Sign up with it.)

I'll mail everyone who signed without the draft AFTER August 24 and ask them to submit their WIPs within the given time period.

Hello and welcome to Artist sign-ups for the Skk BigBang event!

→ What’s a Bang again?

A Bang is a type of fan challenge in which writers and artists work together to produce new collaborative content for the fandom.

In a reverse bang, the artist signs up first and creates a sketch, and the writer claims the person they want to write for based on the sketch and summary the artists provide.

The theme for this years Bang is Soulmate AU with a sprinkle of Top! Nakahara Chuuya & Bottom!Dazai Osamu, which is completely optional.

This event accepts writers, graphics-makers, comic artists, traditional artists, and illustrators. Whether this is your first time participating in an event or you’re a fandom event veteran, it’s all fine as long as you’re 18+, interested in meeting new friends and providing new content for the skk fandom! This is not an NSFW free event, so no minors allowed.

→ What are the artist requirements?

- Traditional/Digital artists must create a minimum of 1 stylistically complete work or a flat coloured work, to the best of their ability. - Graphic Makers must make a minimum of 2 edits. - Moodboard makers must make a minimum of 1 moodboard with 6 panels. - Icon makers must make a minimum of 8 Icons.

→ What do you mean by wips?

It's just a rough sketch of the idea you would like to create for in the event! It does NOT have to be a full piece of art or coloured art. Just some simple line strokes would also do — for giving a generalised idea of what you have in mind to anyone who'd see it during the claiming process.

→ Why can't I put my signature or any watermarks there?

To stay anonymous during the claiming process! While art is often recognizable, anonymity should be maintained as much as possible until after the official list of partners is released.

Kindly keep your WIPs and a short summary of your idea (not exceeding 100 words) ready, while you sign up as they will be required.

The theme for the Reverse Skkbb25 is "Soulmate AU" and "Top!Nakahara Chuuya & Bottom!Dazai Osamu" — this theme is entirely OPTIONAL. You may either use it, use any one of it, or choose neither and create something new entirely. It's upto you! And whatever you decide, it'll definitely be interesting!

Currently, Artist Sign-ups are ongoing and will close on AUGUST 17.

Any Artist is eligible to participate in the event — no matter for how long you have been in the fandom or what your skill level is. Every artist is welcome to participate in this event as this event is simply being hosted to have fun! (Just make sure you are 18+)

writing dialogue between dazai and chuuya is so funny because they’ll talk (/argue) in absolute circles for as long as you’ll let them and longer, but you gotta keep it reminiscent to canon. you gotta get occasionally possessed by the gay fucking spirit and drop a couple of the gayest lines you possibly can. asagiri said so

no because after the interview I've been looking at the whole dungeon reunion scene in a different light in general, but especially this panel because Dazai looks genuinely shocked by Chuuya cratering the wall behind him, but it makes me think he could've been surprised not only because he didn't expect it, but he didn't expect Chuuya to be so moved by Dazai being gone for four years

I think he could tell Chuuya was definitely feeling something in that moment that went beyond their bickering and dumb fights. I think when Dazai initially defected, he reconciled with the fact that, well, no one truly would miss him if he was gone whether he was still alive or not, and while Chuuya was his partner, Chuuya would move on, you know, like he always does despite all the people he lost when he was younger. He would move on even if Dazai was dead.

And it's true, Chuuya's obviously accepted at some point that Dazai might've been dead and had to move on from it, but not necessarily that he processed and mourned that acceptance. He just moved on and internalized whatever he felt due to Dazai leaving (and the assumption he died) but now Chuuya's emotions are on full display

He made a beeline for Dazai as soon as he got back from being overseas, most likely in disbelief that Dazai would suddenly appear after four years but he had to check it out for himself, and then I think all the emotions he repressed came welling up that he only knew how to express by destroying the wall and wanting to "duel" Dazai

It's a lot of things beyond simply anger, I think it's also laced with the grief he never acknowledged and just pushed past, but also relief that someone in his life finally hadn't gone off to die or never spoke to him again. he's not destined to lose everyone for once

and as for Dazai, reconciling that there are people out there who care for him and would miss him, even if they don't show it or say so

Skk BigBang 2025 Theme Announcement is Here!!

Heya everyone! Voting time is over and we finally have the results with us!

So what’s the theme?

The theme is: Soulmate AU with a sprinkle of Top!Nakahara Chuuya & Bottom!Dazai Osamu

Out of 34 responses, 35.3% of you voted for the Soulmate AU and Top!Nakahara Chuuya & Bottom Dazai Osamu, both.

There was a tie between both of the 2 theme options, as such, there are 2 themes for this year!

The theme is entirely OPTIONAL, so you can choose to either run with both of them, run with any one of the 2 options or totally discard them both and create something new entirely instead! Whatever you decide, it’ll definitely be interesting!

Next up?

Artist sign-ups open AUGUST 6! Artists, keep your wips ready as you'll be required to upload them while signing up!

Kindly Note: Do NOT add watermarks or signatures to your wips as we need to keep them anonymous from the writers who'll be signing up later.
