       ||   Howdy, y’all. I am contemplating on coming back to Sasuke because I can’t simply stay away from this RP community. I love this community because I love Naruto so much that I am in awe by the other like-minded individuals that are in this community and I love it. I repeatedly went MIA because of just negative stuff in the past but I just wanna move past that and get back to what I love. (Besides, I’m just gunna unfollow the blogs that just made it uncomfortable for me, which I should have done from the beginning). Anyway, I have so much muse left for Sasuke and I really want to write with you wonderful people again! (Especially now that the college semester is over).         ||

                              ‘I wouldn’t be able to wish you a happy birthday...’

         Sasuke said nothing at first. He hesitated to answer because he wasn’t confident that his response would be particularly ‘nice.’ 

                                                         ‘..Well I’d be sad...’

         “Ah..” Is all that he managed to say. Back then, he wouldn’t have thought twice whether he made Sakura feel sad or not. Now, however, is entirely different story. Now all he can think about is how he almost killed her after he had defeated Danzo. He couldn’t forgive himself for what he did and it has affected the way he interacts with his pink comrade now. 

          With a sigh, Sasuke accepts the gift of which Sakura continued to offer with extended hands. Quickly undoing the blue ribbon, he opens the box to find a small cupcake with whipped pink frosting that has been peppered with blue confetti sprinkles. Just beside it was a lone candle should Sasuke take delight in lighting it for the occasion. 

         Sasuke’s gaze shifted back up to meet Sakura’s with a single eyebrow raised. “ Hn. You even provided a candle. “ He droned. Sasuke didn’t know what else to say.

          A blush plastered on her face as she could tell he was probably annoyed with the fact that he was caught. In truth she knew he wouldn’t like ( Or feel comfortable with ) a party or a large get together with everyone. Still she couldn’t help it as she kept her hands up still holding the present waiting for him to open it. Sakura made it for him after all. Something not super sweet but not dull either. Was it bad for her to just keep him from leaving for just a little bit longer? Maybe it was, but wanting him to enjoy his day of birth was….it was something she just wanted to do. 

“ 𝔸𝕟𝕕 if you’d leave before i was able to do that…I….well i’d be sad…. I-I mean because ya know if you leave then Naruto would be upset and then he’d give me a headache about it none stop for the whole day ahahaha….. “

        *Walks in on some sort of Team Sakura V. Team Taka debacle                               and just casually nopes out of here*

With both hands holding a small box containing a cake shaped cupcake and a handmade bracelet, even falling once, Sakura quickly kept going. He was leaving, She just knew he was. If he stayed, there would be a lot going on. It was his birthday after all. From bellow the stairs and towards the exit her target was acquired, " Sasuke-kun!!! Wait! " getting him to pause Sakura ran towards, finally holding out the box "I knew you'd be leaving s-so here! Happy birthday!" even if not eaten its was fine!

        The dark-cladded young shinobi always had mixed feelings about his birthday. Growing up with his family, Sasuke was excitable on his very own special day. Mother would bake a cake each year in celebration, making this one of the rare instances that Sasuke did not mind eating something sweet. Father would be present and acknowledge his growth from previous years. However, Sasuke was at his happiest when his beloved brother Itachi would be home for his birthday. 

        Now, however, is no longer the case. Since then, his birthdays were spent alone and continued to be alone, despite others wanting to celebrate with him once he became apart of Team Seven. Although so much has happened since the Uchiha massacre, Sasuke did not once hate that he was born. No. He just stopped caring about it completely. If anything, it was a reminder of his purpose. To avenge his clan. To avenge his parents. 

                                               By any means  n e c e s s a r y.

         At the present, after accomplishing everything that needed to be accomplished and losing everything that had to be lost. There simply was nothing left for his birthday except for a memory of a time where things were happy. The one thing he yearns for. The one thing he cannot have. 

         Being back in the village after a considerable length of time, he knew that he couldn’t stay long with his birthday quickly approaching. He knew there are a few people who would try to catch him in attempts to celebrate but he wanted to be spared from all of that frivolity. Opting to leave the day of as quickly, and as quietly as he could, he almost made it out of the village scot free. That is, if it weren’t for a certain dotting teammate of his. 

          Sasuke sighed heavily when he heard the ever so familiar voice of Sakura calling his name. Once he finished massaging the bridge of his nose in frustration, he reluctantly turned around to face his friend. She offered in her hands a small simple box with a blue bow decoration. He internally rolled his eyes at the use of his favorite color.

         He eyed her with a slightly annoyed expression. “ You knew I was going to leave, yet you still couldn’t help yourself, could you? “ He drawled.

        Although puzzled by how many people outside of Konohagakure          come to obtain the knowledge of the day of his birth; Sasuke merely         relents with a sigh. 

“ Arigato. “ He nods while choosing to ignore the Mizukage’s comment.

Hello there!

First of all: I am sorry that I have been MIA for the past...Well..Forever ago.  The summer has been pretty brutal on me (I live in Phx, AZ) and I work in the sun all day at my job. On top of things, I’ve been going to the gym all this summer so i’ve been drained constantly. Plus, I’ve fallen into a writing slump all this time.

Second of all: IT IS MY SON’S BIRTHDAY AND YOU CAN GOSH DARN DIDDILY BET YOUR FINE BEHIND THAT I AM GONNA BE HERE FOR MY SON’S B-DAY!
