Today I introduced my sister to “the problem of Susan” and I had to explain to her that Susan was left out of Narnia cuz she liked boys and lipstick now and without missing a beat she said but what about Peter? Does Peter not like girls? And I knew she was pointing out the inherent misogyny at the center of the “the problem of Susan” but the implications of that question are a source of much hilarity to meeee LMFAO like Does Peter not like girls? Does he like boys? Is he Gay? Is Narnia really just a homo-utopia where Lucy is also a lesbian and Edmund is a bisexual disaster and Susan was kicked out cuz she was too straight??? So I'm just shooting the shit here, but someone write some fanfic please where either

1)ZZH and GJ have agreed to this. Like, all this drama keeps ZZH on everyone's minds. So he makes a video denouncing their coupledom while there's all this "candy" out there showing they are. It keeps ppl wondering, right?

2) China is still a pretty homophobic society at large and the latest gov crackdowns on danmei and "sissy girls" show that officially it's getting to be more difficult for non-het people. What if ZZH is coerced into denouncing GJ and the CPFs as a condition for saving his career? He can become the poster boy for homophobia.

But look: even if one or both of them are gay, it would mean the end of their career if they came out. We all know that. So yeah, someone might suggest that just the presence of CPFs is offensive and makes people not want to help his case in this political climate. And so he tries to push CPFs away.

3) It was all fake to begin with. The flirting, the concert hug, the rumors, the RINGS! All manufactured for an active, engaged (ha) fandom. Like, this is the most cynical take I can think of, but it's a pretty corrupt industry so who knows?

Unpopular opinion again: Before 813 I thought ZZH was a bit of an asshole and his music was shit. Don't get me wrong, I loved his Zhou ZhiShu and I find his voice heavenly. But in his interviews and variety show appearances he reminded me of those frat boys who were really smart but dicks to be around. It's just surprising to me all the fans now who are like, "I *know* he's a caring, conscientious, saint of a youth who would *never* do XYZ..."

He doesn't need to be a saint to deserve justice! He doesn't need to be a saint to prove 813 a truly heinous event.

He could be a typical narcissistic, money-grubbing celebrity and still not deserve 813.

I think it's being run by someone pretending to be ZZH. And that multiple ghostwriters are contributing to the essays. I'm just surprised that they're attempting to impersonate a man who grew up in Jiangxi but don't bother to change their speech patterns. I'm guessing at least one of the writers is a Beijing native. And also possibly a Taiwanese.
