I love that tweet about the headcanon that Hua Cheng’s true form is actually really scary (and the only reason it seems otherwise is bc TGCF is from Xie Lian’s biased POV). Because in the actual text, even Xie Lian describes Hua Cheng as looking wicked and evil.

Like Xie Lian’s biased POV could not even cover up how scary this dude is. It still slipped past the rose-colored glasses.
