mortiiest:
The otherâs snapped reply didnât bother him too much. He jumped the suddenness of it, but aside from being a bit startled, he didnât really mind. He was more than used to that sort of response from the way his grandfather spoke to him. Although he supposed it was a bit unfair to compare the two, as Rick didnât ever seem to leave his retorts at a single statement.
Despite that, he couldnât help but find himself rather disappointed with the answers he was given. Heâd sort of been hoping all of that idol stuff would get someone out of having to go to high school in the first place. Perhaps that was for the better, though, since the more he learned about it, the more daunting it seemed. The only time heâd performed without winding up in the middle of an anxiety attack was when he was with Rick, and he was probably a little too old for this kind of thing, anyway.Â
Still, maybe it was a good thing to keep in mind as a backup plan. Anything seemed better than having to go off to college when he was done with high school. (If he ever managed to graduate, anyway.) There was still one thing he was a bit unclear on, thoughâŠ
âService the fans? Y-You mean like⊠fan-service, a-and all that weird guy on guy stuff that girls like?â
âWh-- G-Guy on guy stuff!? What the hell kind of thing do ya think this is!?â
Now he was actually yelling. Even after being told countless times not to yell, especially in public, hearing something like that had embarrassed him so much that it just came as a natural reaction. It wasnât as if this stranger was the first person -- especially an American person -- to have that misinterpretation, but it still bothered Koga enough that he had to consciously lower his voice when he spoke again.
âNo-- Jeez, Iâd never do stuff like that! Itâs like- ya know, we gotta do stuff to make fans smile anâ be happy. My unitâs sâpposed to be dark anâ wild, not gay as shit. Leave that for some other group!â

âDamn, kid! One question at a time!â
Well, shit. He had been told to act âmore professionalâ and stop snapping at fans and such all the time, but after this stranger had rattled off a million questions in quick succession, heâd forgotten it and gone immediately to raising his voice. He sighed, speaking more carefully when he answered.
âTâ start with, I ainât in school anymore, got it? I graduated. Anâ yeah, I learned math anâ history anâ all that borinâ shit in high school. As fer what an idol is? Obviously itâs mostly about singinâ and dancinâ, but apparently weâre also sâposed to âservice the fansâ or what ever anâ make âem real happy.â
Heh. There! He answered all the questions pretty well.
@wankochanÂ
âO-Okay, so do you- I mean, you go to real school, too, right? Yâknow, to learn m-math and history a-and stuff? Or do you just do the idol thing? Wh-What is that, anyway, like a singing thing? âIdolâ i-is kind of a- thatâs kinda- itâs a pretty broad word, yâknow?â He had about a billion more questions, but he managed to hold himself back for now, at least. God, what he wouldnât give to not have to go to regular school. Although he wasnât sure if any of that weird idol stuff would work out for him either; not if it involved singing, anyway. He was tone deaf as all hell.

Paris was hardly the place where you might expect to see Koga, but idol work took his unit all over the world, and since there was a show to perform after the sun went down, that was exactly where he was left to wander until enough time had wasted away.
Leon had needed a walk, so they had taken to the streets, but Koga hadnât anticipated finding another dog while out. At least, that is, not one with a collar, but no leash and no apparent owner nearby.
âHm? Hey, you lost? Whereâs yer owner?âÂ
Any stares from strangers were ignored as he spoke to the dog. Strange as it was to others, he could communicate well with them.

âTch. Just donât let it happen again.â
Admittedly, Koga was fairly used to being lectured by people his age, although it usually was more akin to being scolded like a dog. At the very least, this stranger had that in her favor. That and of course the fact that she had quickly apologized for doing so. In that regard, she was a little like Adonis.
Wait a moment. Wasnât she looking at him a little strange just then?
âWhat was with that look? If youâve got somethinâ to say, then just say it.â
âWhoops. Didnât mean to lecture you or anything.â
He doesnât even look that younger than her though, and yet sheâs lecturing him like as if he was Kenâs age. Gosh, that was embarrassing. It just somehow it came out of her, because how he reacted to her. Kind of like that one time one of Kenâs classmate called her an old hag. She did kind of want to beat him up one time or anotherâ
âYour welcome.â She watches him pocket it, thinking. âOh is that how he lost it?â and merely nods. âSure, sure. Whatever you say.â
#selflessfool#Minako for coolest mom though.#Koga needs someone to act like his mom.#You can tell he doesn't have one bc of his rotten attitude.

âI donât need you to tell me that.â
The last thing Koga wanted was to be scolded, and it didnât make him any less rude, though he was grateful to have his wallet back. Honestly, if someone else had picked it up and run off with it, he would have really been in some big trouble. Jeez, but as much as he could appreciate her intentions, she sounded like someoneâs mom the way she was speaking to him right now.
â...Thanks.â He quieted down a little as he spoke again, tucking his wallet back into his pocket. âIâll be more careful, so donât worry about it.â
âOh is that so?âÂ

She doesnât seem to be so bothered by how the boy speaks to her. In her head from the way heâs dressed along the way he looks, he looks like a growling dog. Growling for domination or anything. Heh. A sheer difference form Koromaru of course. âYou donât need to be so rude to those who would be giving it back to you, yâknow?â
She gingerly holds the wallet in her hand for a moment and places it in his. âBe careful to not lose it next time alright?â

It wasnât that he was always angry. In fact, Koga had quite a lot of rather calm moments. He experienced an entire range of emotions, contrary to what some ignorant people might say. However, humans were difficult to interact with, and with so many of them being either complete assholes, absolute idiots, or some mind-numbing combination of the two, he could get pretty upset with them at times. All the annoying things he had to deal with from humans were things he never had to deal with from other animals. Coincidentally, itâs also pretty upsetting to be randomly pulled from your world only to end up in some strange place with no recollection of how you got there and no explanation from anyone you asked.
Yes, he had been a little upset at the time. Yet, if you asked him, heâd say it was within good reason, and most reasonable human beings would probably agree with that sentiment.
âThatâs sort of useless now, since I finally got someone to answer my questions a long time ago.â
It had only taken... what? Many attempts at asking different people (only to receive a shrug, or to be completely ignored or run away from) and several hours of being there with no clue as to why or even where he was. If she had just not run off that time, he could have gotten his answers almost immediately upon showing up there, but since she had fled the scene so quickly after making her promise, he was left to struggle for a very long time.
âWhat ever it was, I hope it was fucking important. You donât know what I went through to get that information. Everyone was either to much of an asshole to talk to me or they were completely useless.â
It wasnât often that there was a mishap within her temporal abilities. She wasnât used to making any mistakes, and though she had been using her abilities in ways she was so used to, a mishap and a failure to fix it without issue was..strange, to say the leastârather worrying, as well. Something as simple as a time seal, breaking without recognizable interference, nor her allowance, and having difficulty reforming.. Maybe..some amount of training to stay on top of everything..was necessary, in some cases..
If she didnât do it for herself, there were still people she needed to protect.
She did feel at least a little bad about leaving that boy without answers, but..not only had the sudden break of her seals startle and worry her enough to cause her to leave immediately, but he words and actions did make her..just a little nervous. It had been a while since sheâd spoken with someone who seemed angry at everything, all the time, and also happened to be rather verbal about it. Attempting to deal with it gently as she had the first time didnât seem to do well, at all, and the reactions she got were a bit discouraging.
âAhâ!â
âIâm really sorry about that.. Something..struck my attention and required my attendance. I tried to find you afterwards, but youâd disappeared.. I didnât see any new additions on the board, either, so I figured the gods either hadnât become aware of your arrival, or you werenât a permanent resident, yet.. I can only assume, now, that someone filled you in..? If no one has, then..itâs horribly belated, but Iâll definitely be here to give the full explanation, this time. If you have any questions at all, Iâm happy to answer them.â

âAre you completely stupid or somethinâ? Of course thatâs why heâs interested in you. Heâs a dog. Did ya seriously not know dogs are attracted to the scent of food?â
What an idiot. That sort of thing should be common knowledge, right? Well, it wasnât like he really had high expectations for this guy, anyhow. The two of them were equally disinterested in each other. Had it not been for Leonâs curiosity, itâs doubtful theyâd be speaking right now.
âDonât look so horrified. Heâs not gonna hurt ya or anything. Heâs just trying to figure out what you have because he thinks he might get some.â
Calling Leon off, Koga crouched down to put his arms around the dog in order to discourage anymore curious harassment. Judging from the eager tail-wagging, it was easy to tell the little guy still wanted to check Tsukasa out, but he stayed next to his owner. Meanwhile, Koga ruffled his fur and spoke reassuringly.
âRelax, Leon. Weâre gonna eat when we get home. You have your own food.â
At first it had come as a surprise to see familiar faces from his old school arriving in the city, but by now the feelings had started to calm down, and upon passing a certain grey haired youth, Tsukasa barely even turned his head. The thought that he recognised the person as Koga Oogami of UNDEAD passed briefly through his mind, only to fly off again. Unlike some other idols who had also arrived in Koi, UNDEAD was nothing more than the name of a rival unit, an enemy to be defeated. He knew not much of the other boy, and he didnât have particular huge interest in finding out.
However, fate had other plans as the redhead idol almost tripped over a small creature by his feet whilst not paying attention. The rough words directed at Tsukasa seemed just as disinterested as he himself currently felt, and he crouched down in futile attempts at getting the dog to stop its assault of his trousers.
â Ah⊠No, I cannot think of anything that would be of any particular interest to either Oogami-senpai or your dog⊠I mean, I do have the remains of my lunch as well as some biscuits I bought on the way back, but surely that canât be why he wonât get off meâŠ? â

Whether or not this person was telling the truth, it didnât matter. He was here now, and that was his, so he was taking it back. Quickly approaching, Koga had almost snatched the wallet from her hand before recalling what had happened the last time heâd been so forceful around a girl. This girl was small, just like the other had been, and... Well, whether or not she was a wallet thief, he didnât want to deal with another crying girl. Making one cry had already made him feel bad enough.
âThatâs mine, so hand it over.â He spoke with a huff, extending his open palm for the wallet. âMy IDâs in there if ya donât believe me. Just hurry up.â
She doesnât really come by wallets that were dropped on the floor quite often, than she should. But today was one of those rare times that Minako stops walking and looks down. The wallet seemed ordinary and it seemed that the owner must have lost it. Being her good self as always, she decides the wallet should go to the police station, if she were to come across one.
Well, until someone yells at her from a feet away. She becomes startled almost dropping the wallet but doesnât. They were certainly angry and taller as she sizes him up. The auburn girl blinks slowly as the boy stops yelling and gives a sigh. âDid he think I will steal this wallet?â

âPicking it up and uh, thinking of giving it to the police, for safekeeping?â
#selflessfool#Every girl he's interacted with aside from Minako has cried because of him.#I'm so sorry for this pain in the butt

â--Eh?! What are you doing?!â
The last thing Koga had been expecting, after all of that, was for C-na to hug him out of the blue. As the girl wrapped her arms around him, there was a look of pure shock written on his expression, and his face grew red in spite of himself- not just the cheek that had been slapped a moment prior.
Just what was it with this girl?! One moment, she was yelling and hitting him, and then the next, she was crying all over his shirt. He just couldnât understand what was going through her head!
âJeez, youâre such a crybaby....â With a huff intended to hide his embarrassment, Koga patted C-naâs hair reassuringly. It wasnât like he could stay angry with her crying on him like this, even if that had really upset him a moment ago. âYouâre makinâ a huge fuss in public, ya know. Wonât it look bad on both of us?â
It seems as though they both take things too far when the blood starts boiling. It must be a day of âletâs take something and just fucking RUN with it that sounds like a marvellous idea!â She knew the moment the words dripped like poison from her tongue that she was going to regret it â she should know better than to compare him to Rei. Theyâre night and day.
The few steps she took to distance herself form him are closed quickly when she thrusts her arms forward and wraps around his mid-section. Sheâs crying and she hopes he doesnât mind having a damp shirt for a few minutes, because she presses her face to his chest and bites back a sob.
She didnât mean it, she didnât mean it âÂ
â Iâm sorry â Iâm sorry, Iâm sorry â â
He just makes her so angry⊠But maybe thatâs why heâs her favourite. Because heâs awful, but she can understand where heâs coming from. Constantly yearning for attention and only acting out because thatâs the only way to get attention⊠She canât say that she does the same thing, but she knows what itâs like to constantly want someoneâs attention, only to not get it.
â Iâm so sorry, I didnât mean it. Iâm sorry â â

Koga had known he had to be more gentle around C-na physically speaking. It was a lesson he had learned quickly, but he hadnât quite learned that he should be more gentle in how he spoke to her until her hand had hit him across his cheek. That much, and the tears that welled in her eyes, were enough to make the point.
He could feel his blood boiling, not only because she had hit him, but more specifically because she had immediately had the audacity to compare him to Rei after that. He had gone too far. He realized that now, but did she have to say something like that?
With a knitted brow, Koga put a hand over the red mark on his face, rubbing at it. Surprisingly, contrary to how he would normally be so quick to yell something, it was several moments before he spoke even one word.
âIf that bastard is so much better, then go find him. You already knew I was a vicious animal, so just get the hell away from me and go find someone better.â
She can let certain things fly. Calling her a BDSM freak as if he has any inclination of what her bedroom habits are like, calling her old or ugly. Hell even being aggressive and downright rude can be water under the bridge. But when the word bitchfalls from his lips is when heâs pushed it too far.Â
She wishes she could say she has better control over instincts, but her hand is up and slapping across the flat of his cheek with a rather sharp sound. Pain blooms across her palm and she quickly cradles her hand to her chest, anger and tears mingling into some sort of awful mess in her eyes.Â
Sheâs not sure if sheâs crying from the pain or because of what he just called her. Sure, they didnât exactly get off on the right foot and, yeah, she can understand how startling it must be to find out some stranger has an image of you tied up on their phone, but to go so far as to call her a bitch? She hadnât even done anything!
â ⊠Donât⊠Donât call me that⊠You⊠You may be my favourite, but that doesnât give you the excuse to call me names and abuse me like that! Talk shit about Rei all you want, but at least heâd never call someone a bitch for no reason! â

âS-Seriously?! Ahhhh, jeez!â This was no good at all. Not only did this girl show no signs of calming down, but now he was freaking out too, and people were starting to stare. How was he supposed to deal with this? Humans were so difficult to interact with. Carefully measuring his voice, Koga spoke as gently as he could when he continued.
âLook, please try to find a way to calm down, okay? If you can, Iâll make it up to you, I promise.â
People yelling at her just made her entirely terrified. It wasnât the first time she didnât deserve it and God only knew how many other times it would happen in her life. Shouting for her to stop usually only made it worse.
âI c-canât.â She mumbled, clearly upset that she couldnât wipe away the torrent of tears fast enough. Stop crying about something so silly already!Â

âIf you donât stop getting old so fast, youâre gonna turn to dust before I even finish high school, ya know that, oba-san?â
Koga sneered at the girl, standing over her. Sheâd gotten quite a bit taller in the couple of years that she says had passed, but he still had to look down at her if she was standing relatively close. Can you believe that? Such a tiny girl, whose otaku habits offered her no muscle at all, had the nerve to stand there and yell at him! Then again, she knew he wouldnât do anything to her. Sheâd pointed that out already.
âIâm not a brat! Maybe Iâd stop actinâ like one if youâd stop actinâ like such a bitch all the time! Fuck off already!â
Thatâs better. She can drop the dog jokes if he drops the BDSM title. She allows the tenseness in her expression to ease before her brows knit rightback together when he calls her oba-san. Sheâs not old! A quick foot stomp in her absolute annoyance and she has to resist the urge to strangle him.
â Youâre the annoying one! Iâm not an oba! Iâm not old, stop that! â
Honestly, she wants to hit him with her bag or something. Why is he so frustrating!?
â Why are you such a brat!? â

âJeez! Fine! Just shut the hell up and stop calling me a dog already, got it?!â
Of all the people heâd met in his lifetime, C-na had quickly proven herself one of the most mind-bogglingly frustrating creatures he ever had the misfortune to come across. He knew women could be pretty fucking irritating, but she really took the cake.
âTwo years pass and youâre not any less annoying, are you, oba-san?â
â I think I did just talk to you like that, what are you going to do!? Stop calling me a BDSM freak and Iâll stop calling you a mangy mutt! â
Sheâs so frustrated. His very existence frustrates her and his incessant need to call her a BDSM freak over a card gameonly serves to make matters worse. Exceedingly annoying and certainly a test of her patience. (She even used to boast the lengths of her patience, but the more Koga opens his mouth, the more she realises that this is certainly not the case.)
â What are you going to do, bark at me for the next five years? Pee on my leg? â

Shit. Koga pretty quickly realized the mistake heâd made. As soon as the collision had happened, heâd so quickly started yelling that he hadnât even paid attention to what kind of person he was yelling at. It was a girl - a pretty childish looking one, despite her height - and dammit, sheâd started crying!
âO-Oi, donât cry. Itâs not that big of a deal.â Ah, jeez, it wasnât like she was going to stop crying while he continued to snap at her. It was annoying, but he carefully quieted his voice before speaking again. â...Iâm sorry, so stop crying.â
She had just been trying to find her way around to all the places in town that had job listings posted. A little distracted trying to read the directions on a flyer, Ana Sofia soon found herself in a collision with a shorter boy. As soon as her mouth opened to apologize, he was already shouting.Â
Attempts were made to hold back the flow of tears. Really, she did try. But soon enough she was hiding her face in her sweater and shaking.
âIâm so sorry!â She blubbed.
