//An Update on this Verse

For the sake of potential future RP, as well as my own in-universe storytelling, Panem and North America will be two separate countries. It has been a while since I’ve written that (truly terrible) long-fic, so I’m not sure if this disrupts those events or not, but I’ll be happy to amend the story if I discover that it does.

The decision comes years after the peak of THG RP withered and eventually died. My hope is to open up this verse to the modern RP world. preventing the lockout of American muses and forcing potential partners to confine themselves within the Hunger Games verse, while also respecting the past lore of my own characters and stories.

I’ll pin this and put it somewhere in my rules later today.

We’re happy to confirm Saga Skarsgard’s exit from Witness Protection after the attempt on her life. 

Saga Skarsgard was assaulted two years ago, an event in which she sustained severe injuries to her legs and hands. Beyond that, all details of the assault remain classified at the warden’s request. During the past two years of recovery and therapy, Skarsgard was declared KIA for her safety. Recently, physicians have declared that Skarsgard has regained full use of her extremities and is now able to walk unassisted. No longer wishing to hide, she has personally written the Library to make this announcement of her return to health. Skarsgard is currently working with Agnes Lemieux to train Leslie Jacobs, the last of the Umbrae Somnia.

       Hi! Been awhile. I’ve been slowling coming back to some accounts, and now that a familiar talent and dear friend has returned to the scene and I find that stories I haven’t touched in a long time are starting to stir. So I figured its time to make this post again.

You’ll find every story I’m writing, and every muse I have a blog for under this post.

        Amaterasu “Amy” Tanaka,  the 11th Shadow in this collection of muses, is still untested and I’d very much like to write with her. She’s a work in progress, but I’m working on it. @a-shadow-in-scarlet-ink​

“Thank you for meeting me here,” Saga said.

They were on time. Good. Punctuality was always lauded, even if Saga, herself, was overdue. “Vänta ett ögonblick...” she said. A phrase Saga’s staff learned early on: it was Swedish for just a moment.  She usually spoke the phrase in the rare instances when she emerged from her office and joined her constituents in the kitchen. “I know being back here is odd, but I’ll be finished soon.”

 At the moment, she was putting the finishing touches on grilled chicken tenderloin, sprinkling parsley lightly over the surface and lightly coating it with juice from sliced lemons.  The chef and the kitchen staff loved watching the madame work--she brought the touch of an artist to any dish she touched. “Send that out. Compliment’s of the Madame,” she commanded. The dish was carried away, beyond the door and out onto the restaurant floor.

She removed her gloves and tossed them into the bin before turning to the resort’s newest hire, sizing them up upon first glance. “My administrator has much to say about your first few days here at the resort. Good work ethic, always eager to impress. She also notes that you’re having the slightest trouble meshing with your peers. I just wanted to speak with you and see how you’re settling in.”
