No idea why these prehistoric handprints in the caves make me feel Things but they do, whenever I see them. I even remember watching Brother Bear as a kid and being hypnotized by the imagery, lol. Painted river pebbles, will make two macrame pendants with rough stone beads with them
so embarrassing when i forget im checking someone's blog and i start scrolling through and liking and reblogging shit as if it's just my dash. it feels like wandering into someone else's apartment and not noticing and making myself lunch
my tip to befriending nature spirits is to just like Go There and be around them. maybe sprinkle a few native seeds for the birds, give a squirrel a little pile of nuts, clean up a bit, sing a little, etc. they'll get used to you being around and be like "oh!!! the human who sings to us is back!!" its literally that easy. just do nice things and spend time with them, they'll warm up to you.
can people like stop acting like trans men aren't vocal? like we aren't activists and like we don't speak up? just because you hate trans women so much that you completely ignore trans men, it doesn't mean we are "less vocal." we are VERY loud and proud just like trans women. yall just completely ignore us.
A young vulture is sick of eating dead things and wants to become a vegetarian and asks his parents whether they can start incorporating some vegetables into their meals.
His father is ashamed of him and simply says, "No."
So the young vulture asks if he could bring a carrot to dinner and his mother and father tell him that he is a disgrace to the family and to put these silly notions out of his head.
The son doesn't give up though, every meal he begs his parents, "What about a cucumber?" "How about a little lima bean?"
Eventually the parents get sick of it and decide to relent just a little bit.
His father tells him, "Okay, fine! You can have a couple of peas for dessert. BUT you have to eat all your roadkill first."
The young vulture pleads, "But, da-a-a-a-d!"
The father says, "NO! Carrion, my wayward son, there'll be peas when you are done."
Spent several minutes after reading some of the book I'm currently reading (Its a struggle, fucking add chapters, please) wishing I was reading a different book because I remembered the story being fun
After those minutes I realised I wasn't thinking of a book, I was thinking of Baldur's Gate 3
