My Team In Fire Emblem Engage

Alear, Diamant, Alcryst, Fogado, Alfred, Boucheron, Kagetsu, Zelkov, Bunet, Pandreo, Amber, Seadall and Rosado.

Why These Characters? Well, I'll tell you:

Alear - Well, you got no choice but to use Alear half the time. But even if I could not use him, I'll still use him because he's a great sword unit and he dodges constantly when you level him up enough.

Diamant - A heavy hitter sword unit that if you level him up a bit, his strength is amazing and he barely takes any damage to anything.

Alcryst - The best bow unit in the game? Sign me up! Also, isn't he just adorable?

Fogado - A very good bow unit via long bow and radiant bow but also is amazing at large swords like the Armorslayer and Wyrmslayer.

Alfred - Honestly in my opinion, the best lancer in the entire game, especially if you give him Emblem Sigurd.

Boucheron - Also in my opinion, Boucheron is the best axe unit after leveling him up enough, he's almost got 90 health.

Kagetsu - Amazing sword unit, fast and constant critical on almost each enemy he's up against.

Zelkov - Amazing Thief unit, fast and strong, dodges almost each hit and he often criticals on enemies too.

Bunet - Amazing axe unit, level him up enough and he hits enemies hard, it may take two turns but he also takes barely any damage.

Pandreo - Amazing healer and magic unit, criticals often, hits twice and the enemy is dead.

Amber - Amazing lance unit with heavy lances, sadly takes damage often but you gotta depend on his dodging and strength when he hits.

Seadall - Usually just used to make people move a second time, dies constantly after one-two hits but that is if you don't have people around him.

Rosado - Never really used him often but he was always my option if I could use 13 characters in a battle. Dies often, but he's cute and I love him.

They're also members of the ships I like: owo

Diamant X M! Alear, Fogado X Alcryst, Boucheron X Alfred, Zelkov X Kagetsu, Bunet X Pandreo, Amber X Seadall and Rosado with well... I don't know, I never came up with an idea.

Thoughts on Engage (So Far)

Hello! I have been playing Fire Emblem Engage with my Fiancé. We played this game after finished Three Houses / Hopes. And overall, we love this game. This is where I will tell you my thoughts on the characters, scenery, gameplay, etc.

Gameplay

I really like the gameplay, there's just some things that irritate me. Like in battles, they walk the path you're trying to go and sometimes they get stuck on like corners and rocks so that is irritating, but they always get unstuck after you force them and are like, "Okay (character name here), you can do it, you can get there!" I try to be fun with it to keep me calm, but that's really the only thing that irritates me in the gameplay. I'm no game expert, I just like to play video games for fun and I care nothing for challenges. I don't even do the online gameplay because I care so little for interaction with people other than my partner when playing games.

Characters

My partner and I haven't really had every single character interact and we're on chapter 25/26. We'll have them interact more in our new game plus but a lot of times, we hover over to the male characters and not the female characters. No real reason, they just never stick out to us half the time because we just don't relate to them. But now we got around to spending time with the female characters and we really like them. We still have our main team we send into battles. The Team: Alear, Diamant, Kagetsu, Zelkov, Fogado, Alcryst, Amber, Seadall, Alfred, Boucheron, Pandreo, Bunet and Rosado. When we can have all 13 of our favorite characters but mainly it is: Alear, Kagetsu, Zelkov, Amber, Fogado, Alcryst, Pandreo, Bunet, Alfred and Boucheron. Since you can mainly have 10 in battles. In other words, they are our favorite characters because of the ships we ship and how much we relate to them. That doesn't mean we love the other characters any less. It's just with such a big cast of characters, we will always have our favorites and people's favorites tend to be characters they relate to and/or find attractive. I hope that's understandable. But we can all agree that Sommie is the best boi.

Scenery

Oh my gods guys... the scenery of this game is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous! I thought I love the scenery in Three Houses, but ooooo boy, the scenery in this game takes the CAKE! My partner and I cannot stop taking screenshots throughout our gameplay that's how beautiful it is to us! A lot of the scenery when you snap pictures look like official art that was made to advertise the game!

Interacting With The Map

I also adore the fact that the characters interact with the Somniel and they don't just stand there doing nothing all of the time. Sometimes you'd find them swimming, other times you'll find them fishing, many other times you'll find them playing instruments and singing or just sitting there and enjoying the day! Even the emblems enjoy the Somniel!

In Conclusion

In conclusion, this game is really good and I love it! The creators of Fire Emblem are really showing off with this game that it is kind of funny. They got skills and they know they do. They will SHOW IT to you.
