Mama will stay right here; she'd never leave you alone with such big feelings. Do you want her to get your paci? Yeah, that'll help calm the little one. Shhh, you're okay. Deep breaths, I promise the sadness will pass. Sometimes it seems like it never will. How can something so big and so heavy ever just float away? But it will, it might take time, but I promise it will. And until then, I'll be right here. Oh, little sniffles; here, let me get a tissue. Can you blow you nose for me? Thank you. Want to try and get up? How about Mama runs you a nice warm bath? We'll have a bath and get nice and clean, and then you can pick out a fun outfit for the day. Anything you want! Jammies or something from your dress up closet....yeah? That sounds good? Alright, we'll just take it one step at a time, alright my darling?
