Cyrax is a player character from the Mortal Kombat fighting game franchise created for Midway Games by Ed Boon and John Tobias. Making his debut in Mortal Kombat 3 in 1995, he is a member of the Lin Kuei clan of assassins who underwent transformation into cyborgs. Along with counterparts Sektor and Smoke, Cyrax was assigned to hunt down the rogue former clansman Sub-Zero, but unlike Sektor, he and Smoke were able to rediscover their human side, with Cyrax in particular joining Sonya Blade and Jax Briggs as a member of the Outer World Investigation Agency after having his soul restored. His backstory prior to his transformation is expanded in the 2011 Mortal Kombat reboot. Cyrax has also been featured in other Mortal Kombat alternate media such as the 1996 animated series Mortal Kombat: Defenders of the Realm and the 2011 web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. The character has received mostly positive reception, particularly for his Fatality finishing moves and gameplay.

The Max Rebo Band is a fictional alien pop music band that appeared in the 1983 film Return of the Jedi as in-house performers for crime lord Jabba the Hutt. The original lineup consisted of the blue-skinned Ortolan keyboardist Max Rebo, a plump Kitonak woodwind player named Droopy McCool, and the spindly-legged Pa’lowick lead singer Sy Snootles. Their role in the Star Wars canon is elaborated upon in several Star Wars expanded universe short stories and comics. The group are classified as Jizz-wailers, which, according to the Star Wars Encyclopedia, refers to a “musician who plays a fast, contemporary, and upbeat style of music.” Max and Droopy were portrayed by actors in bodysuits, while Sy was operated by two puppeteers who were stationed above and beneath the set. For the 1997 Special Edition re-release of Return of the Jedi, the band gained nine new members while Sy Snootles was computer-generated.

Disney Tsum Tsum is the name of a range of collectible stuffed toys based upon Disney and Pixar characters (including characters from the Disney-owned Star Wars and Marvel franchises). The name is derived from the Japanese verb tsumu meaning “to stack”, because the toys are shaped like rectangles and designed to stack on top of each other, forming a pyramid shape. There are also vinyl versions of them manufactured by Jakks Pacific. The toys were first released in Japan in 2013 as a tie-in to the Tsum Tsum arcade and mobile games respectively developed by Konami and Line Corporation. Disney began to sell them in the United States in July 2014, and in Disneyland Paris the following month. Around the same time, Disney released Tsum Tsum to the South Korean market, giving away icons for use on online chat systems. As of 2014, 1.8 million Tsum Tsum toys have been sold.

In 2015 and 2016 (from October 2015 to 16 March 2016), the Italian supermarket line Esselunga, gave a toy character named “Rollinz” every € 25 spent (or every 60 “strawberry” points earned). The Rollinz characters represented some characters in the Star Wars saga: Darth Vader, Yoda, Luke and Anakin Skywalker, Emperor Palpatine, a TIE pilot, a stormtrooper, a scout trooper, Jabba the Hutt, Boba Fett, Princess Leia, C-3PO and R2-D2. Each of them consisted of a sphere that would not let them fall, a similar statue to a caricature of the character and a suitable place in the official box to collectors, which resembled the Millennium Falcon and that served also for games with the characters , who had a toy line to advertise Star Wars: The Force Awakens. In September 2016, some Rollinz toys were sold as non-Esselunga toys.

Clone troopers are fictional soldiers of the Grand Army of the Republic in the Star Wars franchise created by George Lucas. Featured in Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002), Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005), The Clone Wars (2008) animated film, the related television series of the same name and the Rebels television series, and they are also featured throughout the comics, novels, and video games of the Star Wars Legends expanded universe. Clone troopers are genetically modified humans cloned from bounty hunter Jango Fett. Under the command of the Jedi Order, clone troopers fight for the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars, which takes its name from the troopers. At the end of the Wars, they are forced by a surgically implanted inhibitor chip to carry out Order 66 and slaughter the Jedi. After the conversion of the Republic into the Galactic Empire, clone troopers become known as the stormtroopers and are eventually phased out in favor of recruits. During development of The Empire Strikes Back, Lucas initially conceived of a planet of clones that caused the Clone Wars mentioned in A New Hope. The clone trooper armor was designed to suggest an evolution into the stormtroopers of the original trilogy, and it incorporated features from both the armor of stormtroopers and Boba Fett, revealed in Attack of the Clones to be an unaltered clone of Jango. The armored troopers in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith are computer-generated images voiced by Temuera Morrison, who played Jango. Younger clones were played by Bodie Taylor and Daniel Logan, who played the younger Boba. Unhelmeted clones were played by both Morrison and Taylor, who wore bodysuits to isolate their heads, and some clone troopers featured a blend of the actors’ features. In the animated The Clone Wars film and television series, adult clone troopers are voiced by Dee Bradley Baker and child clone troopers are voiced by Logan.
