[They bounce the name in their head. It sounds sharp. It tastes sharp coming from him. Yet there is an invisible quality of sorts to it. Or perhaps they themselves were so invisible any name would slide right off.

Even if they found it displeasure - which they guessed they didn’t - arguing with Blinky was risky. Even if she had asked their opinion. However, they knew of their own ‘higher status’ among the other employees. Perhaps taking advantage of it, just once, was worth it. Like that one watcher said, a name was personal. Even if they were wholly Blinky’s at the end of the day.]
