it's stats time, baby! steampunk season and they came out swinging.

overall the party is starting at level 6, except for olethra at level 2, to reflect their relative experience. we're looking at a tier 2 adventure with lots of aerial battle.

mechanically, they've added epic epiphanies--presumably they will earn these over the course of the adventure.

character-wise, we're looking at another oops all martials season. without repeats (all characters counted once for the categories that apply to them, the ratio as now come to 34:40:35:17 for magic, martial, partial, and not applicable. leaning much harder on the martial end recently.

everyone is down to scrap. i have a feeling that any magic is going to be filtered through technology, as much of it was during starstruck. they are actually quite charismatic, beyond the attack/casting stats.

olethra will likely be in the mechsuit for at least the first battle so that she can match the level that the others are at mechanically.

the only known subclass as of now is pappy, the gunslinger. we will probably find out within the next episode for everyone except olethra.

murph is playing a pugilist, like out of tome of heroes, which is essentially a boxer. it combines elements of the monk and fighter primarily, but focuses on unarmed combat with reach and maneuvers within flow state.

as for the zephyr, my guess is that it will be somewhere between the level of seacaster manor and the wurst in terms of mechanical combat--not quite as technical as starstruck but more than fhjy.

i'm enjoying the group dynamic and the fact that they have these existing connections--it makes for fun interactions.
