Here are the products I started with. They are all CHEAP. The Suave is like $1 and the gel is $2😱 ONLY use the clarifying shampoo for your final wash.

Step 1: wash hair with clarifying shampoo

Step 2: cowash (conditioner washing only)

wash roots good with conditioner then rinse and apply conditioner to rest of hair and finger comb or use a wide tooth comb to detangle then STC (squish to condish) rinsing out most of the conditioner (I condition my hair upside down)

Step 3: apply leave in conditioner (you can use a little suave conditioner)

Step 4: apply styling products of your choice (gel, mousse, cream, etc.)

Step 5: air dry or use hair dryer with diffuser, after hair is 100% dry SOTC (scrunch out the crunch) you can use an approved oil to SOTC to prevent frizz
