A long post AGAIN XS

You know me, I generally love “dark stories” and I was discussing this new ship I love - Kano x Skarlet - and my friend, who knows I’m a big Silent Hill fan, told me that Skarlet in the way she rose in the air during her victory sequence reminded her a lot of Alessa Gillespie, who happened to have a doll named “Scarlett”. Skarlet also has a tragic background that inspires me.

This fanart is inspired by my friend’s idea. It’s just some silly idea that crossed my mind and I needed to sketch it. It’s a one-shot if I may say so - no sequel.

Basically, Skarlet came to understand that Shao Kahn adopted her only to use her, for her powers (he didn’t teach her blood magic consequently in this). Whenever people couldn’t use her, they’d fear her and avoid her at all cost, also torturing her and starving her to keep her weakened and under control. The blood on the sheets is only hers and the bloody bed is also a reference to Alessa’s bedroom in Silent Hill and Silent Hill 3.
