That is actually one month before my predicted released date in my last post! What great news

Book Three Sneak Peek Snippet #6...

“I didn’t mean to say something wrong,” I comment after a moment.

Nate/Nat shakes his/her head, adopting a tense smile and finally looking to me. “You didn’t. It’s a…sensitive topic for some vampires.”

I pause. “We don’t need to talk about it—”

“No, I think it’s probably time that we do,” he/she interrupts, a long breath easing out of her/him as he/she forces his/her fingers through his/her hair.

Book Three Sneak Peek Snippet #5...

“You do realise it is remarkably rude to gossip with only one guest at a dinner party you are hosting?” Adam/Ava comments.

Tina winces before smiling. “I’m learning a lot about dinner party etiquette from you tonight.”

“It seems I have much to teach with how little you know.” Once more, a teasing tone captures his/her voice, and I’m entranced by the happy sound of it. “Now then, are you needing to interrogate either of us further before dessert?”

Book Three Release Date Prediction

So recently, I went back and reread the book three demo. Which honestly has made me crave more Wayhaven content. Lately, I have been curious when the third book will release and came up with a few ideas. 

Currently, Sera has finished chapter 12 of possible 19-21 chapters. Leaving us a best 7 more chapters and worst 9 more (but honestly are more chapters really a bad thing haha). Reviewing the timeline, book 2 came out in May 2020. Which seems like a long time ago, but with Covid everything was definitely slowed. 

Let us assume that it takes about a month per chapter, not including editing. This estimate is an average because some chapters seem like behemoths and others more straightforward. 

That leaves us around December for the writing to be complete. The editing I am assuming will be another month and the processing for host games last time took about four months. So, the final timeline is around May/June of 2023. Which means we are still about a year out. 

However, that means we are also only a year out!

This timeline is also supported by a previous post of Sera’s that said she hoped to get the writing of the book finished in 2022 (sadly, can’t find the old post).

“No ‘hello’?” I ask, Mason/Morgan’s familiar gruffness enough to have me smiling through my gloom. “Why would you assume something wasn’t all right for me to call you?”

“For a start, you rarely call for anything social,” he/she states before snorting a sharp breath. “Secondly, that waver to your voice says you’ve been crying. I’m coming to see you right now. Where are you?”

Woah this feels like a huge spoiler! Sin is the collared man from the demo if I recall correctly. Seems like we can free sin and give him freedom from his capturers! Interesting

This is kinda random, but if each Wayhaven Book had a name/title, what would it be? And if it's gonna be super spoiler-y, just the first 3/2 books. Although I'm very curious about a certain book *cough* Book 5 *cough* :D

Oh, good question!

One of my friends who reads for me actually makes up titles for each chapter as she reads them, and it always makes me smile! :D

Book One: "The Wayhaven Chronicles: Bloody Beginnings"

Book Two: "The Wayhaven Chronicles: Judgement"

Book Three: "The Wayhaven Chronicles: Free of Sin"
