Amazing new mexico sunset. I'm hanging on a bridge with my friend mikey way from my chem. Its all orange and pink above us. We went to another waterpark again. I love high fives again. Totally back in love. Saw the most amazing movie... I think its called spirited away. Watch it.

Lots of text incoming, but Avia wouldn’t see Mar’i as a threat because in Kingdom Come canon, they’re actually best friends! In Elliot S. Maggin’s novelization of the comic, he explores their friendship a bit more - Avia has her own chapter in the novel in which she is described as being worried because “her best friend had been missing for weeks,” the best friend in question being Mar’i. Curiously enough, she’s also worried because “the guy who was supposed to take her bungee jumping at Mount Saint Helens stood her up.” It’s never revealed who the guy is unfortunately. Zatara and Avia didn’t have the relationship that we know of in the original comic or the novel, only in the Kingdom miniseries, which I think they should’ve explored more!!

You will never understand the pain I felt when "Kingdom Come" was cancelled. Animation is a gateway to knowledge (for better or worse). We could have known more about Zatara II 😞✊️

It's also the Nightstar (Mar'i Grayson) comic and everyone remembers her 🙌 pure envy, I love her, but I wish it were like that for all the other children

Humanstuck AU (2/12): This time we have Nepeta Leijon!

Humanstuck Lore: I didn't want to make her too Y2K, Alt, or "Rawr XD." If I do the Alpha Trolls I'll probably make Meulin a scene kid, but in my mind Nepeta gives more theater kid energy. I gave her a jean skirt over khakis cuz that seemed fittingly ‘Disney Channel Eclectic™.’

My goal with these isn't just to make the trolls human, but to translate their personality and arcs into there social human/high school equivalents. Like, I could've kept her ‘killer kawaii teacup catgirl’ branding, but I thought ‘over the top feral art kid’ was a better translation of her character.
