Iluminotes light the way of many creatures around the planet to safely travel at night! The light that emanates from their tail can also play a distinct note! When dusk arrives, they arrange themselves in lines across long streets & roads, as creatures drive or walk by, their light intensifies, and its accompanying sound plays! Making up a melody as you pass by multiple Iluminotes! Every road you go through will have their own ring to it! Though every now and then they like changing their position intervals and notes to experiment and compose new songs!

We are seeing an increase in medical emergencies where families need to secure funds as soon as possible. This is the case for Elaf Babiker and her family.

They are Sudanese refugees who have evacuated to Egypt. As they settle down, her aunt collapsed on Christmas Eve and was rushed to the hospital. She was diagnosed with brain stem hematoma, which meant her brain was bleeding! She was in intensive care, relying on the ventilator, as she was unable to breathe on her own, but the doctors required $1,700 USD for her month long stay in the hospital!

sorry for the "bad" take but i fully believe even homeless people who "aren't trying" to find housing still deserve housing. maybe things were too hard for too long for them and they gave up. maybe they just genuinely don't know where to go. maybe they're chronically ill, mentally ill and/or neurodivergent. maybe they're experiencing severe psychosis and can't "try". maybe they're having a pain flare up. maybe they're going through withdrawals, or are heavily intoxicated to cope with not knowing if they'll have a place to sleep and food to eat. you don't know. you have no clue what they're going through. they deserve to go through it in a home.

Hi! I’m Ijanee! You’ve probably seen one of my posts going around or I’ve asked you to share them, but I never actually introduced myself.

I am a black writer from the south. And I’m graduating college with a bachelors in creative writing! All of my money has gone into paying my overdue balance and I’m still short. I also have my second payment for the Tin House workshop (omg I still cannot believe I got in) is due soon and my phone bill that I had to push back bc I had to pay on the first bill but I have been ignoring all of that bc I have been so stressed and sad about graduation. Depression has been kicking my ass since I’m also going through a friendship breakup and my dads not coming to see me walk and I hate the shoes and the dress I’m wearing and graduation season is not what I thought it would be at all. I’m trying to stay positive and enjoy my last few days as college student, but it is hard. If you would like to make it less hard, please share and if you can, donate. Every penny counts.
