Everything you do in this world, there’s always intentions behind it. The Muslims of today have forgotten the importance of having intentions and what it can do to one having it.
When you intend to do good, but you’re unable to, what happens then? Allāh already has written the fact you’ve already done it. How merciful is Allāh? When you intend to do a sin, it’s not written that it’s done until you’ve done it.
Allāh wants you to do good, He loves when you chase after good deeds, so what’s stopping you? Your Nafs, so fight with yourself and accumulate all the good deeds you can before you return to your Creator.

The work you do, the amount of efforts you put into whatever you do, just because you don’t feel appreciated doesn’t mean you should stop. Majority of the times, we won’t have anyone appreciate what we do, whether it’s for them or not. But, that shouldn’t mean for us to stop doing what we are doing. The good you put out into this world will always have a way of coming back to you. Might not be now, or even in this Dunya’ (World). The Ākhirah (Hereafter), most likely.
“And those who believe and do righteous deeds - We will surely remove from them their misdeeds and will surely reward them according to the best of what they used to do.” [29:7]

Fame, it truly destroyed us all. The adult generation, along with the youth, completely destroyed. Worried about what others think, worried about how many followers we have. The Da’wah accounts out there, we all had such amazing motivation to spread Islam at first, but down the line.. what happened to our hearts, our intentions? We are worried about how many followers we have, we boast about it with our fellow friends. What happened to us? What’s the use of our Islamic accounts anymore? Do you think your intentions which are severely damaged, will get you anywhere to getting good deeds? What happened to the Ummah?
“And this worldly life is not but diversion and amusement. And indeed, the home of the Hereafter - that is the [eternal] life, if only they knew.” [29:64]

When the world is against you, it’s you and Allāh. When the world is with you, it’s you and Allāh. No matter who you’re with, what time it is, you’re and will be always with Allāh. He knows what you go through, He sees it all. He knows you cry at night all alone, He Hears every single drop you think no one can hear. He knows you’re going through a lot, this world was made for you to build yourself in the real world, the Hereafter.
وَهُوَ مَعَكُمۡ أَیۡنَ مَا كُنتُمۡۚ ﴿ ٤ ﴾

Keep praying, don’t let anything or anyone stop you from praying. Praying is key, it’s humility, most importantly, it’s peace. Doesn’t matter what sin you’re committing, PRAY!

No matter how hard the journey gets, don’t stop going. There will always be light at the end. Never forget your goal, how happy you’d be after you get through the journey. Every pain you endure, there’s reward within it.

Change, don’t think about going back to who you were, change for the better. Allāh is giving you another chance, this might be your last one. Help yourself now before you lose yourself.

Imām Ibn Qudāmah al-Ḥanbalī رحمه الله said:
“Fasting has three stages:
1. General Fasting
2. Special Fasting
3. Special Of The Special Fasting
As for general fasting: it is abstaining the stomach and private parts from carrying out desire.
As for special fasting: it is abstaining the eyes, the tongue, the hands, the feet, the hearing, the eyesight, and all other body parts/senses from sins.
As for the special of the special form of fasting: it is the fasting of the heart from wickedness, isolated thoughts away from Allāh [thinking about other than Allāh], and abstaining the heart from everything except Allāh in its totality.”
