Currently thinking about The Characters to stop myself from wandering over to the university and murdering the bastard that wrote under "exam relevant terminology" "culture" (it's an exam in cultural anthropology)(it's an introductory exam) (we are supposed to write 300 words as answers) (this fucker really went and said "oh yeah the WHOLE FIELD OF MOTHERFUCKING STUDY is relevant for the exam :) hope that helps :)) (no I am not angry I am simply Experiencing Emotions) (oh yeah "emotions" is also one of the terminology) (Sheesh dude might telling me. Which. One? There's. A couple of definitions. Gimme a time period at least. Anything.) and thought that would do it.
And I was thinking that Mari and Sila would be the exact sort of people that make each other miserable in trying to help.
Like Sila would bake smth and Mari pretends she likes it to not hurt her feelings and Sila would then bake it over and over again bc she thinks Mari likes it depsite hating baking with a passion but it makes Mari happy so she can endure.
And Mari would be miserable the whole time but pretending to love it because it makes Sila happy to bake so obviously it's worth to pretend!
And they're just both miserable but powering through for each other. I am pretty sure at least one person outside of this is noticing it but the one I am thinking about would just think it's funny and not tell them.

#ppl forget how utterly important it is to keep things clean and how much of a skill it is that it be kept that way#and it starts with simplest of shit that most even don't think about (i am included in that lol)#but a very very dumb example: at work i sometimes have to do the coffee machine cleaning.#there are around twenty in the building (s)#if i do all at once just for the basic clean up i am busy foroat of the day#this needs to happen daily or they stop working#not immediately. but soon.#and i can tell you what a riot we would have on our hands if the it guys wouldn't have access to coffee lmao#but most ppl in the building aren't aware the constant maintenance it takes to ensure that the coffee keeps running#that nothing is going bad in there#and the same thing is happening on a much much much larger scale for most cleaning jobs#constant maintenance is key so things keep on working as they do but ppl dont really see it#which is ok! you don't need to understand every aspect on how society is run!#but you do need to give ppl basic respect#and ESPECIALLY the ppl who deal with all the gross shit humans have to offee#sanitation and cleaning crews are like our first line of defence#and maybe even the most important one#and they should get the respect they deserve for that
