we're fine. we're not losing the house.

so uh.. i really don't know how to address this and really hate having to resort to it but we are in a bit of a trouble..

we are at risk of losing our house. many situations of the year as led payments to be severely behind. as a result, the owners who claim the property are planning to sell the house on nov 28th in order to satisfy the debt owed unless we come up with some way to get caught up enough that we can continue living there. we're trying to explore all possibilities that'd help us with it but all the updates i get, those odds seem to be against us.

we are genuinely stressed and scared at the thought of losing everything. it took me years to finally move out, but i'm afraid of moving back to my parents where i might have to get rid of some of my animals ( as i don't think they have a space that will accommodate three rabbits and a rat ), and being mentally/emotionally abused by my 'sister' again while my parents do nothing about. i really want to do everything i can to help, i even offered to pay ~$1,000 if it'd help but my roommate didn't want it to stress me out, even if it could help.

i wish i could do more but like most jobs, especially animal care, pay like shit. so i'm asking for help, which is of no pressure to those who can't! but we could really use the help. whatever helps, helps. if needed, i can provide the paper -- with permission -- essentially stating the same thing regarding the debt we owe: $17,540. ( roughly ). i'm not sure if they're expecting the total amount within 3 months or at least half of it; enough that we can keep the house.

WHAT I CAN TRY.

i can do small graphics for themes & dash banners for $5-$10+ i can show examples of what i've done throughout the years, including my most recent ones if you'd like to see. or, i'm not great at it, but i can draw you wolves ( i used to draw elemental wolves growing up so if you want a custom one -- that can definitely be something i can do ), dogs, rabbits, pet portraits -- like current or passed away pets you want to a memory of -- which i can also show a portfolio of.

please don't mistake silence for hatred. please don't mistake unanswered plotting messages as indifference, or a lack of enthusiasm towards you. considering the ages of most roleplayers, many of us have bills to pay, families to take care of, medical conditions to treat, appointments to make, classes to take, homes to clean, and lives to live away from the computer that are far, far more important than writing on tumblr — life has a tendency to get in the way of hobbies and fun things like this. be patient with your fellow writers. if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out. of course you can set your boundaries, keep your space comfortable, and softblock whoever you wish, but do so while recognizing it's probably not hatred or apathy that keeps them from leaping into your dms with message after message. they probably love this hobby just as much as you... but sometimes life gets in the way.

Confessions of a mediocre RP blog...

 1. I have favorites. I try not to - and I do truly give every new thread a chance. But favorites happen, because some people write in a way that just thrills me in particular. I will try not to focus too much on my favorites, knowing that each new person I roleplay with just may turn out to be a favorite as well.

 2. Some days I struggle to write replies. When I do, when I skip over your thread to reply to another, it’s not something you have done wrong. My muse is not responding to yours at the moment, possibly for reasons neither of us have any control over.

 3. There is no correlation between a lengthy reply and a good one. If you can only type out two paragraphs and I’ve written five, you didn’t fail, and vice versa. Writing flows best when you free yourself from the expectations of verbiage, structure, number of words on the page. 

 4. I do this for fun. If I’m not having fun with our thread, I have a responsibility to tell you so, to try and fix it so that it’s fun for us both. Conversely, you have a responsibility to do the same. We both have the responsibility of ending things on a pleasant basis if our muses are incompatible.

 5. There are days when I doubt my writing. I think we all have these days. Days when every sentence comes out awkwardly and half-thought, when nothing seems to flow. Please, don’t be afraid to ask me to change a reply if I’ve sidelined the plot with my meandering muse logic.

 6. You will never upset me by talking to me out of character. I’m fully cognizant that behind each muse is a real person, and I would love to get to know that person.

 7. I have a ‘style’, a set way that I best enjoy writing. If you’re a brilliant muse and I enjoy your writing, I may stalk you relentlessly without ever replying to a starter you’ve done just because our styles do not match. This doesn’t mean that either of us is less of a roleplayer because of it - we’re just different.

 8. I will not belittle your character ooc. Each muse is unique, each muse is a precious creation of a creative mind, an entity of its own. I promise to respect that, and only critique when asked and then only for the purposes of helping your writing. I will never send you anon hate.

 9. I want you to plot with me. I want our muses to have a story so complex, so incredible, that everyone reads along. I don’t want either of us to know how it will end before it begins. I want to sit on the edge of my seat, waiting for your reply, just to shake my head in awe of the brilliant turn or twist you’ve come up with.

 10. Mun to mun - you are beautiful to me. When you’re having a bad day, come to my inbox. When you’re doubting yourself, tell me about it and I will remind you how amazing you are. When I’ve angered or disappointed you in character or out, tell me about it. First and foremost, we are writers, and I consider us friends if we write together. You’re not imposing on me - you’re allowing me to help.

though cloud's on semi-hiatus until rebirth, i did make a star rail rp blog @trailblczer. it isn't fully complete as i need to get a new charger -- again -- since gaming laptop batteries aren't made to last unplugged. activity is pretty much going to be mobile only until then.

I do not secretly wish YOU personally would not send me one. 

I do not care if we have a thread already or if you sent 10 memes yesterday. 

I am a big girl. I am a grown up. I can set my own boundaries. If I don’t want more memes, I won’t reblog them. Or I’ll tell you guys to pause on sending memes for a while while I catch up. 

I love hoarding memes. I love getting memes from everyone. Even if I didn’t answer the last five you sent me, you might send me ONE today that I have an idea for immediately.

i might put cloud on semi-hiatus as much as i hate to do it. i've just been lacking the motivation to write him, especially with everything that's going on, plus i'm going to be working two jobs soon ( although second job being until the end of october ). i'm prob gonna wait until rebirth releases to see if it gets me through writer's block -- at least, with cloud -- as replaying remake isn't doing it, but i will try to answer small things if i have the time/motivation. all threads are on pause unless there's any you want to drop, lmk! -- i might refresh my blog when i have motivation for him/come back after playing or finishing rebirth so i'm not immediately overwhelmed. i got my discord if you want to chat or even plot things despite my motivation for cloud not being all there but my love for FF will never falter. otherwise, i may be more active on yuma, torgal whenever i get around to making him bc puppy and i've been fixated on star rail lately so i might make a caelus blog if you want to interact with another unhinged character.

funny for one of the shift leads to complain something she does to me basically everyday when it happens to her.

in this regard is being in the big yard with a shit-ton of dogs, some of which are known to be dicks through trying to pick a fight with a certain dog, constant mounting that can lead to a fight or destructive dogs, all by yourself. she does this to me almost every bloody day, all day. it's become a massive peeve as i get little to no help at all, even when fights happen. for her, she was only in there during the first session but complained when the second session gets two people.

tbh i can understand bc frankly with 20-30+ dogs there should always be two people for safety reasons since you dont really know if a group is going to be chill today or he massive assholes depending on the dogs who are boarding or daycare - that's how all the daycares ive worked at has done but not this one for some reason! - to i doubt she'll go 'oh so this is how they feel/why they hate the big yard doing this.' come tomorrow, im sure she's going to put me inbugs, by myself, all day.
