bnha headcanons for my magical boy

having only his quirk for a short time, billy still lacks proper control over it, sometimes things just happens ( sometimes, especially when concentrating on his school or other task, things tend to float around him like a pencil, his bag or that cat that he tends to feed on the way home from school )

big fan of all might, he’s thankful for the internet so that he can look up his fave hero ( even if translation can be a bit off ), he joins a few forums, helps moderates and all that fun stuff ( he may or may not write fanfiction about his favorite ships okay )

he joins the student exchange program on a whim ( and with some help from his mother saying that this would be good for him ) not expecting that he would be accepted to attend U.A. for a school year

both his mother and father have quirks, with his mom working as psychiatrist to help children adjust to their developing powers while his dad works at a hero’s agency as their accountant

since he learned of his acceptance to attend U.A., billy has been taking up to learn about japan and their culture so that he doesn’t offend the family he’s gonna be boarding with ( before moving into the dorm at the school )

he probably died a little inside when he learned that All Might is gonna be one of his teachers

The teen stared at the numerous tables--his lunch tray in hand--that took up most of the space within the cafeteria, he was still trying to get used to the timezone and living in a country where few spoke his language. His japanese was okay, relatively speaking, but not enough to mark him as a conversationalist--though his boarding family was kind enough to help him in the evenings.

Spotting a table with some empty seats, Billy recognized his fellow classmate, Denki Kaminari, which prompted the teen to just go and sit down before lunch period ends. Approaching the table, he scrunched up his face as the words clumsily left his lips. “Um, is this spot free?” He motioned to the nearby chair that’s currently unoccupied at the moment.

“So what’s our route tonight for patrol?” The teen asked, looking up from his phone. “Also I might be a bit late for our meet-up, mom scheduled me to meet this new doc since the last one moved away.” Since his mom couldn’t really take him on as a patient.

“I’m not sure how long the appointment will last, so.” He shrugged.

...Crap, this wasn’t his place--or his reality for that matter. It wasn’t that hard to tell really, the teen just knew, probably a side-effect of his reality-warping capabilities.

Right, he just needed to get an idea on what kind of reality he might’ve accidentally paid a visit to. “Um, miss? Any idea where I can find the Avengers?” Please let them exist in this universe or this is gonna be really embarrassing for him. He doesn’t need embarrassment in another universe, thank you very much.
