Why can’t women age(?)

This topic recently sparked my interest. Social media is obsessed with looks and offers cremes for every problem. I find this a very toxic environment and would like to dive deeper into this. After women reach a certain age they aren’t seen as individuals anymore, why do this ageism and genderism still exist?

I want to archive this topic by finding as much information from different perspectives. Online and offline. Journal my way through this research and also create my own work/visuals that would translate my issues regarding my topic.
