Young Turks couple the release of beat master Jamie XX’s debut album ‘In Colour’ with a spectacular sci-fi themed music video.

Combining raw textures from NASA’s recently released bank of images and some extremely skilfully integrated 3D work, the video’s director Erik Wernquist and his team have delivered a stunningly life-like intergalactic experience to match the hustling shake and haunting melodies of XX’s single ‘Gosh’.

Rejected Shining Poster Designs - Saul Bass & Stanley Kubrick

Film Stage has released a series of rejected poster designs by Saul Bass for the famous horror ‘The Shining’.

As well as providing a great insight into the designer’s work the proofs also feature notes from the films director Kubrick explaining his reasons for rejecting the design.

A rare glimpse into two of the most famous 20th century visual artist interactions.

Manson Animation Reel 2015

After a long long break, I have decided to begin writing again. 

To kick things off I want to highlight the my favourite creative collective/agency Manson. Having followed a particular graffiti artist over some time, I was seriously happy to see the artist’s work popping up in some video and motion graphics projects coming out of Barcelona.

Take a look at Manson agency’s recent motion reel, an impressive compilation of stylised animation, graphics and illustration only matched by the groups live action reel, which can be found at the link below, along with more information.

Good Guy Boris returns from holidays. from The Grifters on Vimeo.

A month after his return from one summer being remanded in custody, Good Guy Boris, creator of The Grifters Journal and Brand is addressing the nation about his “Return from Holidays”.

Boris is a satirical fictional character presenting an eastern european with strong accent and poor english language skills. His humoristic Borat rip-offs, comments and behaviour have been already violating the social and graffiti taboos for a few years.

Those who can read the message hidden beneath the mask of profanity can now decrypt the meaning of the words used for a slogan of his brand - Freedom is not defined by safety.

In that following statement the journalist apologies for his absence and he shares with you his intentions of world domination.

There will be no future statements about the investigation against The Grifters that is still running and no questions would be answered on that topic.
