These guys are my why ❤️ To quote a travel agent friend "It's certainly an interesting time to be in the travel industry. Is it challenging? Sure is. Do I still love my job? Absolutely. Travel is my passion and though of course I prefer to help people go on holidays and make travel dreams a reality, when things go pear shaped I want to help just as much if not more. I want you to know you have my support and I’ll do all I can when you need me, before during and after travel. This covid-19 situation highlights the value of a travel agent/consultant/broker. Online is not always cheaper, in fact it’s often the same and in many cases too online can be more - the other week I saved a family $1500 vs what they’d found on the airline direct website. Regardless of price though, the value of going online vs with a human is completely different. Can you imagine having a huge booking arranged yourself with 10 different airlines/hotels/tour and cruise suppliers, and having to go through to each of those individually to try and rearrange or cancel your trip, as well as each time you need to call back getting a different person? I’m so appreciative for every booking I get, and thankful to have the opportunity in times like these to be able to help alleviate my travellers stress, with just one call or message to me. Someone they know and trust to get the best outcome, saving them huge amounts of time. For any of you who have booked with me, thank you for your support and I’m working on each of my files so you’ll hear from me in the coming days. For those that have bookings with other retailers, please appreciate their extra time and effort on your travels and I hope you can still take your trip at some point.
