Photographed Nora and Tom’s wedding at Salvage One - an amazing funky venue in the west loop. Took portraits around the loop and in Humboldt Park. The dance floor was hopping.
Evanston Wedding Photography - Wedding Reception at the Evanston Women’s Club
After getting married in a private ceremony in their parents’ backyard - Mike and Julia had a fall wedding reception at the Evanston Women’s Club with their extending family and friends.

VANCOUVER WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY - CELEBRATING LOVE WITH KATIE AND KEVIN
Sunday, August 2nd was a great day to celebrate love in Vancouver. This year, over a half a million people flocked to Vancouver’s West End to celebrate love in its many forms at the 37th annual PRIDE parade and festival. Meanwhile, just across False Creek from these festivities, another more intimate celebration of love was in progress at the Vancouver Maritime Museum... this was Katie and Kevin’s wedding!
Katie and Kevin’s Vancouver wedding was a celebration of love that went well into the night. Not just the love between this great couple but also between them and their families and friends - most of whom traveled great distances for the beautiful wedding bash held on Vancouver’s shores. The day was marked by big smiles, heartfelt toasts and some energetic dancing that continued after the couple made their way through a glow stick tunnel to be sent off.
Congrats to Katie and Kevin - I’m sure it’s good karma to get married on a day when all of Vancouver was celebrating love - this wedding only added to the joyful energy in Vancouver on August 2nd!
Here are 10 pics from a December wedding I shot in Chicago last month! That's right... Vicki and Jason bravely posed for wedding portraits while facing Windy City winter temps! Their wedding was a blast with almost all guests dancing late into the night - excited to celebrate a great beginning to many years of happiness for this kind and fun couple.
One way to almost guarantee rain on your wedding day is to plan a November wedding in the temperate rainforest climate of British Columbia's Gulf Islands. Heather and Peter rolled the dice when it comes to weather by planning their Pender Island wedding for November and ended up with a lucky pair of sevens - a.k.a. a warm and sunny fall day.
The couple decided to see each other before their intimate ceremony and we were able to spend some time driving around the island, seeing sights and making portraits, before they went back to the Poets Cove Resort to celebrate with their family and friends. They did their first look on a dock outside the resort and we shot photos at various locations around Pender Island - the highlight of our shoot was seeing a pod of humpback whales passing through the Georgia Strait at Brooks Point on South Pender!
While people say rain on your wedding day is good luck, I'd venture to guess that seeing migrating whales on a rare sunny day will serve as the lucky charm for this great pair!
