The Earth and the environment calls for help but not enough people consider it seriously. There are still individiuals, even decision makers and companies who underestimate the global warming and climate change. The solutions outlined in the European Green Deal can only succeed if people, communities and organisations are all involved and take action. For this reason we want to carry out WDG project to work and learn together, to develop solutions and build networks for real change. Project main aim is to develope 30 participant's knowledge and awareness about European Green Deal as well as ecological footprint, sustainability to encourage them to be active in their local communities in terms of climate change.

During the project, we worked on environmental issues and focused on the European Green Agreement. We used many visual materials and this made what I learned more permanent. I met amazing people during the project, who have great personalities and fun to be around. I had a lot of fun, especially during the city trip, and I collected great memories thanks to my friends. Even if the project is over, I am sure that we will meet again anywhere in the world.

This project provided me a bunch of funny moments and good friends that I will always keep in my heart.

This project was an incredible adventure filled with beautiful people, laughter, and new experiences. We spent most of our evenings gathered around a campfire, sharing stories and getting to know each other. I especially enjoyed the conversations we had in Portugais. The facilitators were so kind and patient with us, and they organized all the activities very well. The time spent around the campfire brought us all closer together, and I made some unforgettable memories with my new friends that I will cherish for a lifetime.
I’m glad being part of this project and it’s not the end my friends, we will meet again..
Go Green!!

My stay in Luxembourg was incredible! I'm thankful for the opportunity to be here and meet the wonderful people that attended this project. I cannot properly express how thankful I am to have two kind facilitators that helped me when I needed de most. Also, I'm extremely happy with the trip I made to Trier and possibility to experience the German carnival.
We Deal in Green! was an opportunity for me to have meaningful talks about the future of Europe and the world with like minded people, during the activities and during the free time. The bonfire was a nice touch during the evenings and some of the conversations I had I'll just keep in my heart.

My first Erasmus project really pushed me out of my comfort zone! I was nervous about meeting so many new people at once, but it has turned into an experience I won't forget. I made wonderful friends, and had the opportunity to learn more about cultures and countries I dream of visiting.
Before this project, I was very pessimistic about the future of our planet. I knew that caring for the environment isn't as easy as recycling and reusing, because it isn't the individual who has to make an effort to change things, but the companies in big oil and big plastic whose practices truly make a difference to our planet. It was comforting to learn through this project that most people feel this way, and though we couldn't always come up with perfect solutions for the problems, it was good to be able to vent out our frustrations and fears.

The We Deal In Green project was a great opportunity to learn more about climate change and the problems our planet faces. Most important to me was discussing the difficulties in implementing green practices and policies and how sometimes "green" solutions cause more harm than good. It was also valuable to gain the perspective of other countries and see how they tackle (or don't) the climate crisis, comparing what my country does with what the countries of other participants do. I learnt many of us face the same problems and anxiety over the future, but the project showed me ways to combat this.

During this Erasmus project I learned many things about the European Green Deal, but also a lot about other countries and cultures. First of all, it was a reminder about the importance of doing simple things to help the planet, for example the importance of separating waste. I learned some new things about the green economy and the problems during its implementation. I learned about greenwashing, eco-anxiety, environmental problems, sustainability, climate crisis, pollution and green energy. We talked about problems and possible solutions for those problems. We compared the situations of all the countries that participated in the project. We learned about the food sharing point in Luxembourg and about the system under which it operates, which was particulary interesting because we don't have anything like that in my home country. I visited many beautiful places, learned about other countries and cultures and met many smart, kind and inspiring people. I also realised how much more I want to and have to learn in order to make a difference. This project encouraged me to pay more attention to the eco crisis and to take more action, both because of the lessons and because of the motivated people I met.

My experience from the youth exchange was very positive and I will take with me beautiful memories of all the lovely people we met and the new knowledge I acquired. I would like to thank everyone who shared their knowledge and experiences on the subject of We Deal In Green. I'm especially glad that I learned what eco anxiety is and that it's completely normal to feel helpless when we think about the future and everything it brings. I am glad that I participated in the project in which we discussed the problems that are happening around us and have a direct impact on the environment, nature and climate.
My favorite part of the project was coming up with a scenario for a play in which we showed how we should behave towards nature and the environment and, of course, the way we shouldn't.

Through this project, I learned the importance of taking care of our planet and the positive impact that even small actions can have. The organized activities, the connection i felt during the campfire to nature, it was simply great. It was a truly fulfilling experience, and I would recommend getting involved in similar projects to anyone who is interested in making a difference in their community and in the world.
