The other night husband and I were watching a documentary about the yeti where they were doing DNA analysis of samples of supposed yeti fur, and every one of them came back as bears.

Anyway, the next night we watched a thing about some pig man who is supposed to live in Vermont. People said it had claws and a pig nose but walked upright like a man. Now, I happen to know that sideshows used to shave bears and present them as pig men. So every piece of evidence they gave of this monster sounds to me like a bear with mange.

So now the running joke in our house is that everything is bears. Aliens? Bears. Loch Ness monster? Bear. Every cryptozoological mystery is just a very crafty bear.

Bears. They’re everywhere. Be wary. Anyone or anything could be a bear.

- someone made a username for friar laurence with 420 at the end - the same kid who put 69 in romeo’s username like i wouldn’t know what either of those things mean - the girl who added ‘clean’ at the end of all the songs on her juliet playlist like lmao girl i know spotify doesn’t have the clean version - the kid who said romeo and juliet killed each other - the weird dichotomy of kids who put love story on their playlist vs the kids who choose bad blood - the kid who wrote ‘get a room’ as tybalt’s comment on romeo’s couple pic - the kid who said ‘romeo is probably one of those douches who follows a ton of people so they follow him back and then he unfollows all of them’ - the one who legitimately used the word ‘alrighty’ do kids say this in their text messages???? i thought i was the one talking like an elderly person but okay - the one who made romeo’s username ‘montagoose’ - the only kid who acknowledged that posting about your secret relationship on instagram was a bad idea - the girl who wrote that romeo would unironically say ‘#blessed’. she’s right. - the one single solitary girl who wrote mercutio as gay as shakespeare did (she’s also the only one who used mercutio at all which is a tragedy but whatever) - the one who wrote romeo’s insta bio as ‘thus with a kiss i die… LOL RIP ME 😂💀’ - the one who made benvolio’s username benvoliYO

The second Madney baby being named after Bobby means that there has now been three Bobby Nashes in the show. I assume the writers just completely forgot and/or didn't care that Bobby's son was already Bobby Nash Jr.

Also, statistically, 2/3 Bobby Nashes dying on screen is not a good omen for that child.

Text: decoupling pregnancy from femininity means accurate and more inclusive language and treatment, but it also allows cis women to refuse motherhood without refusing womanhood, which is great for feminism and terrifying for misogyny.

I think it's interesting looking at the relationships on AO3 for the White Collar fandom. The show has two lead characters, Peter and Neal, who solve crime together and the focus of the show is on the close friendship between them as they figure out the case of the week.

So the top relationship is Peter & Neal with 2874 fics (& not /). Perfectly understandable and expected given the subject matter of the show.

Now I would expect the next relationship to be Peter/Neal. From every other fandom in existence that features two really close guys as partners at the heart of the show, I would expect that to take the second place spot, but it doesn't. Peter/Neal takes third place with 1760 fics.

Just nipping in above it with 1776 is Peter/Elizabeth, pairing Peter with his in-canon wife. So, so many fandoms would side-line the wife in favour of the slash pairing. But not here. Here, she is half of the second most common relationship.

And in fourth place, we get Peter/Neal/Elizabeth with 1294 fics.

There is a fandom where a significant number of the fans looked at the main characters and went, "So they're a throuple, right?" And, honestly, same.
