Weeja took this pause as an opportunity to lunge forward and kick the smaller of the two Nords in the gut, knocking him to the ground. She summoned back the flames to her hands and hissed angrily at them as she stood over the fallen one.

"First one to raise a hand against me dies screaming!" she growled. "Now tell us what you're doing here!"

Weeja followed him closely behind. "They must have some sort of basement or cellar here. I didn't see any storage rooms on this floor, so they have to be keeping their things somewhere." she said.

Do you ever think about things you maybe shouldn't? When I was little, I used to think of things to keep me going. I used to imagine myself as an immensely powerful mage, equal or even better than any mer ever was.

In my dreams... I would burn any and all those who wronged me or my kind.  Even now, I imagine myself scrubbing away the Dunmer who look down on us from the face of the world with fire. I close my eyes, and I can see the filth of Riften fleeing as I chase them from their holes. I can hear the screams and the crackling of bones... I can smell it...

I want to have this power... No one would even think to harm me ever again... I would be untouchable.

Weeja followed close behind him, throwing her own fire at the men. She swerved out of the way of an attack, moving nimbly on her feet before dealing another fiery blow.

"Who are these people?" she asked, raising her hands up in case she needed to defend herself again.
