est january 2025! weekly kirby: planet robobot drawings until the game is announced for switch. subject to ending if i no longer wish to keep up with it.

kirby: planet robobot is one of my favourite games of all time. i’ve replayed it countless times- and listened to the soundtrack somehow even more than that. i’m sure you can imagine my excitement hearing leakers say it’s “coming to the switch” in “the first half of 2025”!

to celebrate, i’m challenging myself to to make a weekly robobot-related drawing until the game gets announced. (that, or until i call it quits.)

it’s mainly for fun, a project of personal significance i’m doing on a whim. i’ll be making smaller-scale pieces, but also bigger ones if i feel like it. if it gets really unfun i may drop it though. i’ve got a year plus’s worth of prompts (got some real deep cuts in there, all three glunk fans worldwide i gotchu COVERED), so i’ll be fine if the game doesn’t come out in the expected time frame. worst case scenario the game doesn’t come out at all? i’ll blow up my house.

also, yes! this is what the poll was about… i’ll be doing both options kinda. i’ll post the drawings here, then reblog them to @weeklyrobobot to keep ‘em nice and organized. the first drawing is going up this week, so keep your eyes peeled :)
