Back garden is looking nice and healthy so far this summer. Still can't get over how huge the elderberry bush is. And my favorite, the lilies, have bloomed this morning! They smell great.

Cleaned up the back yard this weekend and added an obelisk for the honeysuckle. Now that the neighbors pine tree is gone we have tons more sun - hope the hostas are ok with it. Slimmed them in half and gave them away too. More room to grow!

Front yard is looking good even with the heat. Aside from our vacant neighboring yard with 2 ft of grass of course.

The elderberry bush wont stop! It's so tall and has tons of flowers about to pop open. The little knock out roses are blooming too; I think they enjoy the shade of the bush.

The hostas are getting so big I'm going to start calling them dinohostas, and the honeysuckle blooms are lovely along the back fence.

The second clematis plant is blooming with the double flower. They really like the new bamboo to grow around and are running out to space at the top!

First time the dwarf butterfly bush is blooming. I really like how round and full it's become.
