For all those who use it,

You have to let go of Character Ai. It's still generative ai, and it's still killing the planet. It's still using water to cool its systems. It's still doing everything that OTHER generative Ai systems are doing. Just because they slapped the face of your favorite character onto their website and app, does not mean you should keep using it.

Please, do not scroll away. It is becoming a genuine problem of people excusing C.AI because it helps them with mental issues, and/or other reasons. Your chatbot is not worth the several packs of water bottles. You have to let it go.

I've seen also a lot of people?? Tell those that are like struggling to let go of C.AI to just "go outside" "go shower" "just delete it" or even "go make real friends (to roleplay with)/find online communities to roleplay with" and oh my god.

If you're already doing what you need to do in basic necessities like eating, drinking, showering, you're okay, keep up the routine. You are doing good. But if you're scared to find someone to roleplay with or friends. Take it slow, not everybody is as social. If you think it's too embarrassing to go roleplay with another person, then I recommend taking a creative hobby like writing or art to get out your desires of interacting with a fictional character.

You HAVE to stop using C.AI, this isn't an optional decision like choosing red or blue. It's genuinely hurting the environment, and it is hurting you in the long term. It's capable of inducing psychosis and even if you ARE capable of differentiating the realities with what's fictional and what's not, using C.AI is still hurting everything else around you—other people around you by using an already finite resource (fresh water).

You have to let it go. Set your own boundaries, force your hand to stay away from the app, delete it and press it out of your mind. If you feel the urge to start clicking or tapping a message, start writing down your thoughts. Do whatever you can, don't look for alternatives just please, just stop using C.Ai

reminder to anyone that has donated to campaigns that gofundme terminated: make sure you request your refunds and keep asking for your refunds. there's nothing else we can do about that site but don't let them get away with it, they will keep your money. most of the terminated ones (with the exception of only one) i had donated to weren't refunded unless i initiated the refund request and hounded them about it by sending several emails about each one for months when it shouldn't take months for them to simply send you back the money.

Stop companies from killing games!!! (EU and UK edition)

Tired of buying a $60 game that stops being functional a year later when big corp decides to pull the plug on its support? Tired of companies being able to brick things you own because they feel like it? Tired of beloved games becoming lost to time?

There is currently an initiative being pushed in both the EU and UK for game companies to be held accountable for keeping at LEAST some version of a game functionable.

The movement is currently in dire straits but has been gaining a ton of traction lately that could bring it back. If you are a resident of either, there's things you can sign to get things moving!!

A Gazan’s gaze at a loaf of bread is like no other…

It’s not just a glance at food — it’s a glimpse of life pulled from the jaws of hunger, of dignity reclaimed from the ruins, of a long‑delayed hope that feels like a mother’s embrace calming a frightened child.

The world may see a loaf of bread as a commodity, aid, or a number in a report.

But here in #Gaza, a father sees a small victory over death, a mother sees the warmth of a table that has lost almost everything, and a family sees a fragile roof over a house with no walls.

Each loaf a child eats here is praised a hundred times over, because reaching it feels like surviving certain death, like pulling a life from under the rubble, like beating the flames of bombing and starvation for one more night.

This is the reality for my family, trying to survive one day at a time, one loaf at a time, one dream at a time, amid a siege, destruction, and a long, merciless war.

I have nothing to offer but this plea from the heart — for those who still value humanity, for those who can help.

I'm tired.. I've been trying to reach people to help me with my campaign for 3 days now.. There's no more flour in our house.. I have 4 children and my wife. If anyone would like to help us..

The other solution is to go to the death traps, the American-Israeli aid distribution centers, and I might return or die. Even now my children cry when I tell them about this. They are afraid that I will die and not return to them.

I know my campaign is for education and rent but I can't even afford to buy food anymore.

For the past four days, the occupation has completely cut off the internet in Gaza. The world no longer knows what is happening to us, and the occupation has exploited this blackout to commit its merciless crimes.!!!

During this blackout, the occupation has committed more than 20 massacres against civilians. One of these took place in the camp next to us, where tents were bombed over the heads of their inhabitants, and more than 100 martyrs fell in moments. Families were completely wiped out, and children's remains were scattered everywhere. Most hospitals are out of service, families are homeless, and children are without food or medicine.😭

My friend Ghada (@ghadaanqar23) has asked me once again to write a few words on her and her family's behalf to try and raise funds to support them all.

After over a year and a half of continuous blockade, bombing, hunger, and illness, Ghada needs your help to support her family and save for evacuation -- a very expensive process.

To make matters worse, Ghada's niece, Iman, suffers from osteoporosis, an already serious condition that has been exacerbated by the inhumane conditions created by the Israeli assault on Gaza.

In times of war, certain health conditions -- which might otherwise be easily treatable -- become much more difficult to deal with.

Now Ghada needs to raise funds not only to try and support her family (many of whom are young children desperate for a livable future), but also to help support Iman.

I would like to end this by saying that Ghada is an incredibly kind and resilient person, and I just want to ask you to find it in your hearts to support her.

i get the majority of my news from online news articles. sometimes, though, it’s hard to know what’s going on without word from the ground — for instance, the suffering of individual gazans isn’t reported on often.

one such gazan is my friend ibrahim @wolf-aid. you wouldn’t know it if you only looked at popular news sources, because they aren’t reporting on individual tragedies — but just recently he was only 500 meters from a house being bombed. on top of that, his father has bladder cancer and his condition is deteriorating rapidly.

ibrahim has the opportunity to evacuate his father and possibly even go with him — but he needs money to do so, and money to support the rest of his family in the meantime. you’ve all helped so much — please keep that help up. ibrahim needs you.

Iran celebrated, Israel celebrated the end of the war, and Gaza waits and calls, but no one listens. The war between Iran and Israel is over, but the war in Gaza is not over. Children are still dying, families are still being displaced, walking long distances, homes are still being demolished over the heads of those inside, and injustice still exists. Also, don't forget that hunger has never left people, but more importantly, Tumblr users, listen to me with your hearts. I always write posts asking you to participate with me and donate to my family, but unfortunately, I only find a few who do. Announcement

It's likely already obvious that this blog is dead, so it goes without saying that I've lost interest and motivation to operate this blog on a regular basis.

It was fun while it lasted, and I wanted to thank anyone who took the time out of their day to read and support my work, it means a lot to know that others enjoy what I wrote and I'll hopefully be keeping this blog open so people can still read my stuff.

For fun, I'm still going to try and write whatever requests remain in my drafts, but I make no promises to finish them. And requests will permanently remain open and I may or may not write requests I find interesting.
