Any tips on being less ugly?

let's start by not calling yourself ugly, what do you think about that? because i know it might seem dumb, but most of the work in being "pretty" is made by seeing yourself as pretty, and in this case the "fake it till you make it" thing works pretty fine

also, don't listen to what other people say, wear whatever you want to wear, do you hair as you want, don't do your makeup if you don't want to, try to have always fun, and surround yourself with people who actually support you and value you

I absolutely believe that everyone deserves basic human respect but that the kind of respect as in ‘respect your elders’ is to be earned and should have respect given in return. Your only going to raise kids that want to rebel if you demand respect without giving them a reason for it and without giving it back to them.

sorry if this is weird to send but i feel like there's a big difference between respect (as in treating someone like a human being who inherently deserves compassion) and respect as in automatic deference? and i believe in one but not the other

of course and i’m sorry if my wording was confusing, of course you should treat everyone with some level of respect as a human being, no matter who they are, no ones arguing with that.

i meant respect as in like when an adult is being a horrible person and just expect that younger people should agree with them or not say anything about it or stop them because you know ‘respect your elders’

And yet people still believe in the whole ‘big bang’ thing. How did a scientific accident create a world wear two species (humans and plants) live off of each other’s waste.

The mere fact that plants live off of the thing that humans expel points to there being a God who is all knowing and who created the world and everything in it.

Plants are weird

Isn’t it funny that plants feed off of carbon dioxide? That gaseous compound that humans expel as respiratory waste?? Yeah, that.

We live in a nitrogen-majority atmosphere, a carbon-based solid beneath our feet, and plants use those in opposites.

They have a partnership with certain forms of bacteria and fungi to obtain the correct form of nitrogen from the air and decomposition, and they have a partnership with all living things that exposes them to gaseous carbon molecules so that they can use the catalyst of a nuclear fusion chamber that takes on average 8 whole minutes to travel through the vacuum of space so they can produce a specific set of sugars to grow and bear fruit to continue their genetic line.

And people keep them for fun.

God I love plants.
