I said I was going to start doing some accountability stuff on here so that’s what we’re doing! Let’s talk about May:

I need to apply to colleges this month. I would ideally like to reverse transfer my current credits from my 4 year to a 2 year community college and finish up an associate’s degree in arts as quickly as possible. This will allow me to reapply to a 4 year with a hopefully higher GPA and more options for my degree.

As far as working goes, I’m still pretty limited in my ability. 4 hours a day is ideal but trying to carve the time with everyone hogging the Wi-Fi and work spaces and just generally making my life difficult on top of my disabilities means that doesn’t always happen. 2 hours a day is the bare minimum to meet my bills though. Includes weekends.

For reading this month I am prioritizing my Everand library as I’ve cancelled my subscription and I’ll lose access on the 27th. I need to read about 60 pages a day to finish them all.

My cartomancy practice will follow its usual structure of monthly, weekly, and daily draws. Additionally, I apply concepts from the books I read and do exercises from the lightwands patreon as they come up. I’m continuing to prioritize playing cards as well as the new decks from my birthday.

I need to make sure the bank sends me a new card as mine expired this month and they did not send me a replacement.

My room is in desperate need of a deep clean, so I need to spend a day or two focusing on that.

one last random rant for today but melungeon is a reclaimed slur for multiracial people from an area where the one drop rule is still relevant. if you don’t have multiracial ancestry and you aren’t from those specific areas of Appalachia you are not melungeon. being melungeon is not a fun quirky word for “southern with curly hair”.

only just remembered the conversation I had with the person who said they couldn’t read anything written by a lesbian because they were a bisexual and it would be seen as infiltrating a space that wasn’t intended for them and wasting resources that weren’t theirs to use and they were terrified of getting in Trouble.

Something that’s always been extraordinarily funny to me about the DCP is that areas with decent management tend to have full-time employees that are much harder on CPs but shitty leads in my experience always had employees that would go to bat for CPs. Solidarity lmao.

funniest part of nosferatu 2024 is when the boys are trying to roll out for boys night but one dude is a no show so they go to find him and he's like. it turns out he's awol from boys night because he went mad with grief and died of the The Plague while he was defiling the corpse of his beloved wife. and the other lads just have to go wow sad and leave it at that because they're on a CRAZY time crunch trying to kill this fucking feratu. you know how it is with boys night.
