────────────⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ Early concept ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆────────────

Putting Error into this AU was already a part of the early concept of Timeline-Tale. But instead of being a threat, he tried to convince Pit to let him destroy the other timelines for him since Pit wanted them gone. Error couldn't just destroy everything because Chara and Pit together overwrote their code inside their AU to not only hide their AU's existence from others but to also weaken any outsiders that enter their AU. Since Error's body is full of corrupted code from the AntiVoid, it does not accept the strange code and glitched out, which temporarily removed his ability to delete/harm, and change code. Pit and Chara could correct that and give him his abilities back.

If Pit had accepted this offer, Error would destroy the other timelines, but also everything else that belongs to Timeline-Tale.

────────────⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ Current concept ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆────────────

In today's version, Error still wants this AU to be gone. He became aware of its existence after Pit and Chara created the fake-timeline, which also created a bunch of other timelines. This massive change caused the Multiverse to glitch out for a second, which attracted the attention of certain people, including Error.

Timeline-Tale is still hidden from the rest of the multiverse, so Error will take some time till he finds the culprit that made his glitchy-senses tingle. But when he finds them, well, let's just hope that Pit and the rest got their shits together by then, because Error will not like this AU when he finds it.

All because Lust made a little joke he heard some humans make. The clan's leader didn't like that he was mingling with them, and slapped him right across the face and well, a fight broke out, and resulted on him saying some nasty stuff and leaving his clan behind, along with his baby brother.

He would take him, but Razz needs to be just a little bit older before it's safe for Plum to take him.

Let’s meet Chara!

Chara once lived on the surface with [REDACTED] and her caretakers. After a fight with [REDACTED], she ran away from home to the mountain Ebott. An old artifact got activated by accident, and Chara fell through the dimension where monsters once fled. Pit found her and brought her to the King, who adopted her in the end.

Despite being human, Chara was accepted into the monster society after two years. The little prince and the skeleton twins became her best friends and brothers, even though the twins remind her of two bodyguards sometimes.

On the day of the attack, Chara held the SAVE-Star to bring it in front of the CORE for the yearly progression save. For this day, Pit became her personal bodyguard and led her to the CORE. When the CORE exploded, Chara shielded Pit with her body. A large piece of the shattered star went right through her soul and got absorbed. Instead of Pit, who chose to go into the CORE, Chara got into the CORE unwillingly.

Chara is aware of the time-loop that happened because of the CORE's explosion, but can only remember tiny pieces of it. Chara gets the ability to [REDACTED] by using [REDACTED]. She starts to feel guilty after knowing who attacked her new home and family. While Pit is focused on keeping the fake-timeline alive, Chara tries to set things right. She wants her main-timeline back, no matter what.

Does the change in her soul affect her in any way?

Not directly. The explosion would have killed her if not for the fragment of the star that her soul absorbed. It does not change her emotions or such. More will be revealed when the story progresses.

Is Chara like a genozide-Chara or is she a pacifist?

This AU takes Chara's character in a different direction, since a genocide or pacifist route is not directly planned into it. So, neither would be the correct answer. Chara can bring up the will to kill, but currently never has.

What does Chara think about the new timeline that Pit created?

Chara cares a lot for her new family and even helped Pit set up a new timeline by giving up some energy from her deformed soul. Still, she wants her family out of the fake-world they created and only sees it as a temporary solution. Pit and Chara will have a big fight about the future of their family and how the other handles the biggest problem: keeping everyone alive.
