What was your mom’s verdict of the movie? Did she like Tails? Did you see the second one yet?

We’re gonna watch it tomorrow night. Tonight was the first one. My mom’s familiar with the characters because she played Sonic games in the 90’s, but doesn’t know all of the newer characters yet. We’re breaking it into chunks for now.

She gave the first movie a 9/10 because, and I quote, “where’s the hug? All that work for nothing?!” But she loved Sonic Wachowski very much. She loved him so much it was precious.

Her favorite Sonic character has always been Tails, so you can imagine her reaction seeing the post credit scene. Now, if you excuse me, I have to pick up some popcorn that we’ve flung off the floor from Tails’ reveal. 😏

Oh god I’m not ready to tell her about Shadow

Okay, the overall review was a 9/10 for her.

She says that if anyone wants Sonic Wachowski they’re too late. She claimed him and said that she will buy him new shoes.

“Is that Jim Carrey?” Yes mom “Ohhh my god he’s perfect!”

She’s very concerned that Tom didn’t secure the snacks in the car from the gas station. Her response was that Sonic needed a snack because he was a good boy.

We made it four minutes in before we started crying over Longclaw. She thought Longclaw was cool and asked where she got all of her swords.

She couldn’t remember Wade’s name and kept calling him “Officer Brain-fart.”

She loved Sonic in general. She thought that he was a precious bean.

Her favorite Sonic character is Tails and did a little dance with me seeing Tails.

She asked for part two tomorrow.

She’s crying with me when he moves in with the attics and did a complete 180° seeing Tails on screen.

Her overall review was a 9/10. She literally marked off points for a lack in hug, but I expected that😂❤️✨

KNUCKLES producer, Toby Ascher, hints that there are more Sonic spin-offs to come.

Here are some of main bullet points from the article below:

Toby Ascher teases that they have further plans for the future of Sonic.

Toby believes that existing game characters are interesting enough to do their own solo story as time progresses in SCU.

Each show—IF approved—are treated as character studies and how they respond to real world scenarios.

He hopes to do another spin-off show sometimes in the future. The popular speculation is that it’s Shadow, but this has YET to be CONFIRMED or DEBUNKED… it’s a maybe.

I honestly like the series and I also LOVE your analysis on the SCU. So can I ask this… think Wade and Knuckles connect because of similar history? My one gripe with the series is how Pachacamac is portrayed. Knuckles values him yet we ALL know what really happened. Then again there’s Pistol Pete whom Wade ADMIRES until we find out Pete is a TOTAL SCHMUCK. Any thoughts?

One of the things Knuckles and Wade have in common, that they were both betrayed. For Knuckles, it's something he experienced with Robotnik, but many other times in his life. For Wade, he was betrayed "again, and again, and again, and again" .

Wade: "warrior or not, I'm strong enough to know I would never betray a friend."

Knuckles: "you are stronger than you think, Wade Whipple."

As for Pachacamac, I'm afraid I disagree. The whole concept is way too funny, but also fascinating...

This is clearly not the first time Knuckles is visited by Pachacamac's ghost, he was probably his only friend during all those years of questing. My question is, did Knuckles know him when he was alive? Or is the the spirit of an Echidna elder from long ago? It's unclear.

Knuckles made peace with his former enemy, but that doesn't mean he lost his respect and admiration for the echidnas. Frankly, I don't think there were any good guys in the Echidna and Owl war.

Let’s all admit it…Wade has VERY good taste music. And the opening credits were dope.
