He was genuinely asking, he is trying to find some sort of logical explanation, he most likely won't find one though.

Kanade was in the school music room, despite how the school looked on the outside, for the most part she could somehow navigate it just fine...She was testing out the piano, playing a simple piece.

Miyuki looked forward at what seemed to be a replica of her school...But it looked like it was also combined with other schools as well, creating an odd huge school hybrid.

"There's no way i'm going in there on my own! It looks like a maze- i'd get lost in a matter of minutes!"
