im late to the fandom about half a decade, but have we talked about how hastur witnessed “holy water” drip onto crowley’s fingers and the spray bottle imploding to cover him in it. hastur thought he had one over on him by feeling lucky about the gamble being normal water, but I wonder what he felt during the hell’s holy water bath scene. if he thought back to that moment and saw his life flash before his eyes, and if he felt envy that crowley of all people had an immunity of sorts, despite being a traitor. assuming nobody knew about the switch of course.

Ew i just saw a victim-blaming sponsored post on my tumblr dashboard to defend Neil Gaiman. :/

Interesting that a "Neil Gaiman fan" who is a survivor of rape would pay money to make this post more visible as a sponsored ad. Would any actual survivor fight this hard to try to discredit other survivors? I really hope not

How very depressing that Neil Gaiman had trended not even a tiny bit for demonstrating what a fucking horrific person he is.

As a reminder, he's suing Caroline Wallner, one of his accusers, for breaking her NDA. Not for libel. He's saying she shouldn't have told anyone about it, not that she lied.

He doesn't need the money. He's risking the Streisand effect. He is punishing Caroline, he's trying to intimidate other victims who have signed NDAs to scare them into continued silence.

He is no friend to women, to the LGBTQIA+ community, to anyone quite frankly unless he thinks they are of value to him.

Share the story. Put it on Facebook and bluesky and whatever else you're on. Make it clear what a horrifying person he is. Tell your friends. He's paying Edendale a fortune to try and cover this up. Make this hard for him. Make it cost him money.

Keeper -- a short comic about an angel meeting a robotic lighthouse keeper that doesn't know the world has already ended. Made in about 18 hours for a 24-hour 24-page* black and white comic challenge (that I arrived late to, ha.)

*the actual submission does not include the cover, which was created after the fact for this post.

This was a really great learning experience as someone who's... never really made a completed comic. I ended up really attached to the story by the end of the project (possibly due to all-nighter deliriousness lol) and ultimately am very proud of what I made.There are some things I'd still like to change, particularly text placement, but in keeping with the spirit of the challenge I've elected to leave it as is.
