Ahhhh, absolutely!! Thank you so much for this ask, Siobhan!! (And I’m also gonna tag Via’s other fans @aceyanaheim, @endless-oc-creations, @ginevrastilinski-ocs, and @xoteajays. <3)

Via is an Aries, born in April, and you better believe she fits the stereotype - she’s stubborn as all hell and always has to get the last word in.

After Via’s magic and who her mother truly was is revealed, and Dean and Sam get over the shock of it all, Dean starts cracking all the Charmed, Bewitched, and even Hocus Pocus jokes he can, and doesn’t stop even when Via repeatedly threatens to turn him into a frog. (She would never actually do that, of course, but he is really annoying with all the references.)

Via is a very light sleeper; being a hunter, especially one who's been through as much as she and her family has, has trained her to bolt up at the slightest creak of floorboards.

Via's mother, Anne, really loved Christmas, especially Christmas music. All throughout the year, she'd have a Christmas CD she'd made playing while she cooked or did chores, and to this day Via still associates Christmas music with her mom.

She also has a charm necklace her mother gave to her for the last birthday they had together, silver with a little heart charm. It's one of the only things she was able to take with her after her mother died, and she'd go crazy if she ever lost it.

Her love languages are quality time for giving and words of affirmation for receiving.

She doesn’t exactly have a prom night, since that happens during the events of the series so she's on the road with Sam and Dean, but Sam does realize that it's prom season and puts on some music in their hotel room one night so they can dance, and even buys a cheap costume tiara to crown Via prom queen.

She once took the spark plugs out of the Impala when Dean ate half of her burger at a dinner when she went to the bathroom. He nearly killed her for tampering with his baby, but seeing the look on his face was worth it.

One of her biggest regrets is not realizing that she was a lesbian in time to come out to her mom before she died.

Though she shares Dean’s love of classic rock, Via also really loves folk and bluegrass music. She has some CDs of it that she can never convince Dean to play in the Impala, but the scratched-up MP3 player Sam got her for one of her birthdays is absolutely full of it.

𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐔𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐆… 𝐌𝐘 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐀𝐋 𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐑, 𝐕𝐈𝐀 𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑

❝ Via (full name Olivia, but no one but her mother had ever called her that) had gone the first eleven years of her life not knowing she had brothers. In fact, she really hadn’t been aware that she’d had any family besides her mother - for as long as she’d been alive, it had always just been the two of them, her mother’s parents dead long before she’d gotten pregnant with her daughter and no other relatives to speak of.

It wasn’t until Via was six years old, coming home from kindergarten in tears because a group of other girls had pushed her on the playground and made fun of her for not having a daddy, that she even realized that her mother hadn’t just created her all on her own. That day, Anne Cooper explained to her daughter why they didn’t share the same last name, telling Via that her father was a very nice man who had had to go away before she was born and that Anne had given her daughter her father’s last name as a way of keeping her connected to him.

Five years later, after Anne was dead from a car accident, that same “very nice man” had shown up at the temporary foster home where Via was staying introducing himself as John Winchester and saying that he’d come to take his daughter home. It was then that Via finally realized that she wasn’t the only child John had; she met her brother Dean, who was good to her if a little bit awkward and gruff, and she at least knew of Sam, the one who’d left for college, even if she didn’t know that much about him because John ignored her whenever she tried to ask questions.

But Via knew her father hadn’t exactly collected her from the foster home in an entirely legal manner (even at eleven, she was smart enough to know her social worker would probably have talked to her about going with her father first) and not too long after being taken, she understood why: her last name belonged to a family of hunters, those who travelled around the country fighting vampires and spirits and other things that went bump in the night, and now that her mother was dead and he was the only family she had left, John wanted to bring her in and train her to be one of them.

And so he did. Over the next four years, Via’s education ceased to take place in a regular school and became strictly out of old folktales and John’s extensive notebook, or in the backyard with a weapon pointed at a row of cans. She learned all there was to know about every supernatural entity or ritual there was, she learned how to fire a hunting rifle at a target a hundred yards away without flinching, she learned how to kick down a door and take down a werewolf with nothing but her bare hands, all the while forming a jagged bond with Dean and feeling her resentment for her father, the man who had stolen her away to be a weapon and didn’t even seem to remember anything about her mother, fester and grow.

But it’s been four years since Via first met her father and one of her brothers - four years of training to be a solider and screaming into her pillows in the dead of night when the pain inside of her grew too strong - and now John has gone missing while off on a hunt. Taking off with Dean in his beloved Impala, Via finally has a chance to meet Sam, the brother she barely knows anything about. Together, the three of them set out on a mission to find their father - a mission Via almost hopes they don’t complete - while helping out and taking down what spooky threats they find along the way.

But if Via thought her life was weird and painful and awful before, she doesn’t have a single idea of how much darker it’s about to get. ❞

Gonna do some of my Gilmore Girls ocs for this.

Kit Gilmore: Mamma's boy through and through. Used to get along better with his dad and enjoy his visits but eventually was let down due to how little he showed up and how he hurt his mom.

Elliot Gilmore: Mamma's boy. Hates his dad because he never made an effort to differentiate him from his twin or get to know more about him and also wasn't as accepting of him when he came out.

Charlie Gilmore: gets along with his mom though not as well as his sister does. Goes from ambivalent to angry towards his dad pretty quickly. Somehow can't keep himself from hoping his father will stick around and letting him back in every time he comes back.

Henry Mariano: sees his teenage brother as more his parent than his mom. His dad left him and he doesn't really think about him but might wanna get to know him in the future. Doesn't want to get to know his step dad.

Tori Hayden-Gilmore: her dad is more of a playmate than a dad to her but as a playmate/friend she likes him enough. Wishes he was less absent and the relationship is deteriorating because of it. Also thinks he could grow a spine when it comes to his parents. Resents her mom for not being more in her life despite knowing it wasn't really her choice.

Sofia Gilmore: her parents make her cry every other day. Could actually use better ones. Tends to keep them at a distance and wishes more than anything to be away from them. Don't really have much of a relationship despite all living together.

Valentino La Costa: adores his mom. She's the first one he goes to for advice and trusts her wih his secrets despite her being the town gossip ( is adopted) Doesn't know his bio parents but has never felt like he needs to.

Noah Doose: loves his mother. Doesn't know his dad-or want to. Sees his extended family as parents ( and has...a strained relationship with them since he was in-patient due to mental health issues but enjoys some traditions like pick up hockey games and family dinners)

Amelia Gilmore-Danes: loves both her parents and is incredibly close to both of them. Wishes they wouldn't fight and banter so much sometimes but knows that they love her and try to keep her out of it.

Serenity Davis-Danes: has tried to run away multiple times. Dislikes both her parents and wishes they'd grow up and act like parents just once.

Sandy Danes: was closer to her mother for most of her life and glued to her side as the youngest but became closer to her dad after her mom passed away and also confided in him (though never to the degree she did her mother)

Lucy Nardini: Got along okay with her mother for the first 11 years of her life until she found out she lied to her and her sister about her father. Wants to get to know her father but also isn't sure how to approach him.

it's okay if you aren't writing right now. it's okay not to be online. it's okay to take breaks. this is a hobby, not a job, and you should spend your time however you want to, not how others may want you to. don't stress yourself over not being around enough; it doesn't matter if you take days, weeks, or even months — it's okay to do things the way it works best for you. and if that means taking longer to reply, then so be it. people are usually far more understanding than we give them credit for.
