I'm taking Neopets Art Commissions!

Okay, so, yeah, um, here comes the sob story about my life, but times have been a bit difficult for me in this past year or so, and mainly in recent times my sister and I have gotten to a level of financial tightness we're relying heavily and almost exclusively on the university's two free meals (and bread we technically steal from the university restaurant to eat as breakfast and late night meals), rice and stuff our house mate gets for free from his mother, and sporadic donations to make it through the month, and, even then, the smallest of medical or house issues are enough to get us into debt (although we're still going further under even when nothing's happening). Also, long story short I can't get a job because of university classes being inconveniently spread out throughout the day (I could not get transferred to night classes), because, despite the university being free, the staff there still thinks you need to be rich to study there.

Long story short, money's tight, we can't tighten the budget anymore, so I'm trying to look into sources of income, and, well, given I have plenty of experience with art, I decided to start offering commissions.

Here are the prices and explanations for the three types of art I can offer for now:

How can you order a commission? At my shop at Shoppy. And how do you contact me for the commission details and progress? Through email, Instagram, my Neopets account or in here (although I prefer the talk to be through email or IG since I get the app notifications).

I will be taking up to 5 different commissions at a time. Right now I have 0/5 pending commissions.

I wish I could show my gfs reaction from last night when I was telling her about Neopets and got around to explaining the pound chat and pet adoption process. When I said “so you have to basically write an essay about why you want and deserve this pretend animal” she could not believe it. I wasn’t even really questioning it as anything weird as I’ve been steeped in UFA culture since I was ten. then I had to explain that I myself have also written these neopet applications and she fully short circuited. the only stronger reaction she had in our 45min neopet discussion was when I said “so you have pets, and then you have petpets which are pets for your pets, and you have petpetpets which are pets for your petpets” and she audibly screamed
